i'm watching a show about women behind bars.
this particular story is about a woman who was married to an abuser. He kept getting away with it (they were poor and black and the police never believed her). One day he hit her, and she found pics of him and another woman in the car.
She went back in the house and pointed a gun at him. He said she was too stupid to know how to use it, so she unlocked the safety and shot him.
well, her kids were home and she didn't want them to see, so she put him in some garbage bags and dragged him to her closet.
after 3 days, he had started to smell, so she dragged him into the bathtub and pour acid on him, expecting him to just shrivel up and disappear. It didn't work.
She then went and bought some hamburger meat and set up the bbq and started grilling hamburgers... then she went back in the bathroom, poured some lighter fluid on her husband, and lit him on fire. She hoped that the smell and smoke would be hidden by her cooking hamburgers.
that didn't work either.
Then she went to a neighbor's house and asked if she could borrow a furniture dolly so she could move her dead husband.
she's in prison now.
