today the crossover was taken so i waited till after speed deads and hypers b4 i did pull thrus and it kicked my ass!!

box sq 10 sets of 2 w/185lb
speed deads 10 singles w/185lb
hyper ext 4 sets of 8 w/35lb plate
pull thrus 5 sets of 10 w/140lbs
ab pull down 5 sets of 10 w/130lbs

my lower back was fried today after i finished. i started doin the speed deads to help my speed of the floor for my meet. i think i'm gonna do them from a 2-4" platform next time.

how long did this take you?
must not have rested much in between sets

could you explain pull thrus please?

looks like a good workout. before i had access to a reverse hyper and glute ham, i lived off of pull throughs, they are awesome.

Man.... my advice is to NOT buy a glute ham raise... my college gym has one and i still prefer to do them on a bench. Never really liked doing them on the GHR machine.

Now, a reverse hyper on the other hand...:)

i've yet to find a cheap reverse hyper tho...ill prob just have to improvise on those till im rich;)

chad,
on those platform speed deads, the groove is totally different on a platform dead than a regular one. i'm not telling u to not do them, but i would alternate or somethng. i love some platforms, but feels way diff then off the floor

thanks...i was goin to...i dont plan on doin just platform deads...i just wanted to throw them in to help out the bottom portion of the dead. i may not even do them for speed. i dunno yet really.

dude........... king.................

i just went threw that link for the glute ham raise.......... im not sure where they are located. but i started entering my information like i was going to purchase it. and for them to ship it is only 7 bucks.............. thats not bad at all.

so your looking at around 410 for a glute ham machine........not bad.

i think you have to call or go thru w/the order to find out the cost.

i was going thru the order............. just start it like your going to purchase it........... step # 2 is to enter your shipping information......... then the next step is to enter your billing information. i stopped there, but it still caculates shipping. and for where i live it was 7 bucks.

I'm lucky enough that my gym has an employee who has totaled elite in the 181s... he ordered a reverse hyper from louie and put it in the gym for everyone to use:)
