Passed the BAR on the first try? Well you just proved my point for me as to the incompetence, inadequacy, and ignorance of our legal system. The defense rests.

Could it be from hundreds of innocent civilians being MURDERED by these same terrorists whose actions you are defending and making excuses for because they "have been oppressed?" Animosity is a mild emotion to be harbored for a people who have bred this contempt for human life.
Could it be from the magnitude of your ignorance, which allows you to completely ignore the role and the responsibility of the educational system which has bred and created these terrorists and instead chooses to lay blame on their "oppressors?" So now Sharon is to blame. You state that Sharon wants to "murder more Palestinians and Arafat." Do you really believe that if he wanted Arafat dead he would not be dead? And what is your response to the thirteen wanted terrorists being harbored by Arafat in his compound and whom "reporters" tried to smuggle out yesterday? Is this another example of Arafat's desire to contribute to the peace process?
Sorry, they will NEVER be or have a state because 1) they have no organized leadership or legitimate claim to anything, 2) they have and will continue to reject all offers which do not include the complete destruction of Israel and 3) they have and will continue to reject the recognition of Israel as a sovereign nation, a requirement for any such negotiations in the region.
As for world opinion, once again YOUR opinion, not the world's. Truth is, the continued palestinian terrorism throughout attempts at peace have caused most of the civilized world to see the truth- that there is no difference between the palestinians and any other terrorists such as the Taliban. The world is sick and tired of it, and ARAFAT overplayed the shitty hand he was dealt with to begin with, sort of like you have with the complete absence of supportable facts in your ramblings.

FACT IS, there was an offer on the table years ago. Barak's offer would have returned 95% of the land but ARAFAT turned it down. The Israeli's subsequently returned a vote of no confidence which ousted Barak from office. ARAFAT and his actions is responsible for Sharon's present leadership role in the Israeli government.
The fact that some Clinton-appointed judges have attempted to abuse the flexible nature of our Constitution by trying to change it by interpretation (adjudication) rather than by legislation (as was intended) is evidence of your hipocracy. You try to change it, then use the altered version to support your arguments.
What your thinking displays is not "critical;" rather it is incomprehensible, liberal, ignorant, backward, fantasy-based thinking- "Let's not use any and all of the tools at our disposal to eliminate a real and present danger to our country because the possibility that someone's rights might be restricted next year exists." So because terrorists will inevitably find "other ways to inflict terror" we should just give up and give in to their demands? Tell us how you really feel, you submissive bitch. The Constitution is a document which is subject to interpretation and, by its very nature, allows for its own revision as necessary. Furthermore, in war and times of national crisis, sometimes civil liberties must take a back seat to national interests. That, too, is in the Constitution. Ever hear of martial law?
