David Boston is huge!

Did anyone see the Cardinals play last night? I think David Boston is the biggest wide receiver that I have ever seen! He is definitely cut as well. He is probably 30-40 lbs bigger than when he was at Ohio State. He is 225 lbs at 6'1".

One of the Muscle Magazines I read did 3 articles on 3 of the best physiques in the NFL:

Johnny Morton
Jason Sehorn
Joey Galloway

All 3 are like under 4% body fat and bench in the mid 300s while squatting around 500. These guys are phenoms...the funny thing is while morton and sehorn eat very healthy, galloway admits he drives through McDonald's twice a day.

All those guys are wide receivers/def backs and relatively small, but they do have great physiques. I wouldn't say the best though. I would think Shannon Sharpe, Jevon Kearse and some other defensive end/linebacker types.

david boston is jacked and ripped.... definitely one of the best physiques in the NFL. michael pittman, az's rb, has 19 1/2 inch arms, and boston looks bigger. with his size/speed/hands, he has all the tools. too bad he's doubled every sunday.

I read that same article about Sehorn, Galloway, and Morton........and I don't recall anything about them benching in the 300's. I remember Sehorn on some morning talk show last year before the superbowl, and he said he benched just under 300.......but squatted alot more, so I probably beleive that they squat 500 or close to it.

I am surprised that Seahorn does not bench 300. He is a great athlete, his two interceptions this past Sunday vs the Redskins showcased that.

It's not just the 300lb bench. If you are a cornerback in the NFL you also run a 4.5 40. Hard to bench 300 and have that kind of speed at the same time.

Yeah, Pittman is HUGE! That guy is a Thoroughbred!

Eddie George is a fuckin horse.
He was one of the best athletes ever at
Penn St and they have a long history of
great athletes.
He's bigger than most RBs, they usually
list him at about 235.
Although I did see him get trucked by Ray
Lewis last year, so I guess you never know.

I am watching the Cowboys vs Cardinals right now. He is listed as 6'2" 222, but the announcers said he is more like 237. That is huge for a fast wide receiver.

His biceps are quite impressive.

Yep they have a great weight training routine alright, Boston put on 25 lbs this summer magically, lol. I love football and don't care who's on or who's not cuz it really doesn't affect me either way, I just love their excuses for gaining this weight.

That's what I tell people everyday. I go to the gym at school sometimes just because and friends of mine will say "that guy must be on juice". I always answer the same way "it doesn't matter what you take if you don't diet and train like a mad man you won't get big from sticking a needle in your ass." I could care less about who's on or not in the NFL, I love football and anyone who's played high level sports knows what goes into it. To be the best the game must become your life, you get out what you put in.

I agree. That's why I am intrigued by Boston. I have never seen a wide receiver attain that type of size. Most are probably concerned that it will affect their speed, agility, quickness etc. He seems to have retained all of the above.

I don't see why this didn't happen sooner. Rb's have been huge and fast for years. Look at how sprinters are built even. The huge WR is teh way of the future. Plaxico Burress on the Steelers is a monster and David Terrell is a big boy too with the Bears. There's also a kid on Stanford that is 6'7" and like 240ish if I remember right. I say let the old rules back and let the DB's and WR's battle it out all the way down the field. Moss would retire in two years.

Well, if this trend of huge WRs continues it will force the CB to change. Right now successful Corners in the NFL are usually 5'9"-5'-10" with blazing fast 40 times. Size has not been as important. Look for some bigger CBs to emerge. Most of your bigger DBs are safeties. I guess Shawn Springs and maybe Seahorn are new breed.

boston said it on fox sports yesterday before they played the giants, he weighs "between 235 and 240" depending on how his diet is going... amazing how he can still keep all the speed. he is a damn machine.

Yeah, I saw that special too. He said contrary to popular belief, bigger means faster. (When bigger equals pure muscle!)

He is a stud for sure.

Boston is big but Shannon Sharpe is the man. He trained with the same coach as I did this summer so I got to see him up close and personal. He is a Freak!

haha dude...penn st huh? I don't remember seeing eddie at penn st? what year was that? :p

several nfl players r freaks..

david bostons numbers r ridiculous..considering he dropped 7% body fat..gained 20 pounds and dropped his 40 time by .3 in a summer..

everyone is getting bigger stronger and faster

Adam Archelleta is a freak and gives all of use smaller framed guys something to shoot for

i remember a draft day piece on him...hes 510 210 pounds benchs over 500 pounds and did 225 30 plus times at the combine...he practices Russian HIT training

Boston is a freak...had to do something though

one thing i always thought about was Denis Rodman, remember how skinny he was, than one season he came back ripped and up 30 pounds...as lives in pro sports

russian hit training?? is there ne ware when i can find more information about that training.. cause i kno archuletta puts up sick number..and ive herd his training was sick...

also i dint realize david boston led the league in recieving

on rodman..yea he was a monster..but theres so many others that came back with similar results we just overlooked them..

also.. David bostons trainer.. charles Poliquin.. i was thinking about buying one of his books.. he has a few out..does ne one kno if they r good..or offer some one like david bostons program??

I picked up Boston this year mid way through the season for my fantasy squad-----my best transaction of the year.

HE is a Hoss and he will only get better.

i think he should be a chicago bear.

He definitely should go to a team with better playoff chances. I would like to see him on the Cowboys or Vikings.

Galloway is strong but its also amazing that he is the fastest guy in the league too. Barry sanders had quite a body too and probably the strongest legs for a running back his size. I forget what he squatted but it was a huge number.

the mkost impressive about barrys leg strength he oculd b running at full speed and stop dead..then his next step b back at ful speed....

if u gave him a decent line...i dont kno wut he would do with it..

I heard from someone at work that Boston just got busted for drug use, cocaine I think. I haven't seen a story, anyone have a link?

That would be beautiful. Him, Booker and hopefully Marcus will come back. Throw in Terrell. Bears would be unstoppable...assuming They throw more than 7 yard passes to some of these guys.

He is still HUGE. Yesterday was the match up of two juiced ballers: Shawn Springs vs David Boston. (Seattle vs Arizona).

Da Winna: Boston.

They play again this season in the NFC West.

For the record, Eddie George attended The Ohio State University. Micheal Pittman has one of the most outstanding physiques I have ever seen in sports. David Boston is as well (also OSU).

Ohio State was discussed in page two of this thread. Shawn Springs also attended OSU. A tribute to their weight program.
