April 12 monday-chest

starting a MM style routine to get ready for a couple contests. I have been doing a standard 5x5 routine for 3 months now, but ive read alot of good things about MM and it fits the way i like to train, which is heavy all the time.

Flat bench-
135x20 warmup
185x5
225x5
275x3
285x3
295x3
305x3
315x1
325x1 failed here last week
335x0 close but couldnt get it 330 would have gone

I dont have any boards yet, getting some lumber this week though. Just setup the power rack to around a 4-5 board height and pressed off that..

had to stop here, starting from a dead stop that far down is really tough on my shoulders.

ran out of time so i just did a couple sets of cable flys, theres still a little bodybuilding alive in me.

100x6 drop to 70 for 6 more.

friday is next chest day, ill be using a shirt and boards, hopefully ill get a full workout in.
 
April 13 tuesday- back

underhand bentover rows-

Monday- april 26- legs

405x8 w/ knee wraps (PR!!)

back went on last rep of 405 so i had to cut the day short

did 2 sets of leg extensions 140x10 and 180x8

1 set on leg press 675x8 hurt my back so i stopped.
 
Tuesday- april 27- chest

the metal militia training style is designed for people on a cycle i believe, and i kind of felt weaker today, it must be true. Just feels like too much, like im overtraining. Cant wait to do this routine when im on anavar in a couple months.
 
Nice work.
Remeber to catch and throw of the boards/pins. Take it down fast touch and throw it up.

The MM routine took my bench from 365 to 430 raw.

It takes time to get used to the volume.
 
yeah its tough, my shoulders, elbows and wrists are aching so bad by the time i get through the routine. where you on the whole time you did this routine?

545x2 whoa! i dont know where that came from, it wasnt that low (just above parallel) but it was crazy heavy.
