Unhooked

New member
For my whole life I had circles under my eyes, and now they are starting fo bother me alot. Are there any good products out there that isn't to expensive to help remedy this. Also, I was readin in the puffy eye thread that some olay products could help out, though I am not quite sure.

Thanks

Oil of Olay has some night time products that my wife uses - they work for dark circle and to tighten. It has worked for my wife - so you should check into it.

ive tried biotherm and also la praire eye products and neither have done anything. im thinking about surgery at this state

i often have dark circles, especially when i am stressed and not sleeping well. for a while it bothered me enough to see a dermatologist. he recommended using a laser to remove the them.

it would have been kind of like removing a tattoo. the lasers would burn away the pigment causing the dark circles.

for a cosmetic surgery this was not THAT expensive, about $1800, but it didn't seem worth the hassle. this is a simple but drastic procedure that burns the skin under your eyes. it would have required anesthetic and taking a whole week off from work.

i have just learned to live with them. it is not the end of the world. especially if you are a guy.

Many factors can cause dark circles under your eyes: dehydration, lack of sleep, stress, genetics. I find that a pouch of cold chamomile tea on each eye for 5 minutes works wonders. I always do it before a party, because it also helps the puffiness. In some cases, concealer is the only remedy. Some concealers have rutine in it, which is supposed to help decrease dark circles overtime. Look into Lancome and Bobby Brown. Clinique is good too, but it has a shine that bothers me and you would have to apply powder.
