Hey guys,
Just wanted to say nice to meet u to Joker(choker), PolishHammer, LordSuston, T3C, Nwinters, and Iron Lion.
Of course good to see Cuthbert, Exodus, Spatts, BeanPole(is that the right name), Trinity, KingC all this bunch again. I think we all showed alot of heart and determination. The guys that had never done many events really impressed me, jasonaa and I discussed how you all would have smoked us pre-event training, haha. We were wusses in december, don't tell anyone though. Hope to see more of you the next time bfold has a tourney/training day.

Also, a HUGE thanks to bfold for putting on a top notch show. Didn't here anyone complaining about not knowing when they went, placing/times were posted for everyone to see after each event. Good microphone system, family atmosphere. My family kept talking about how friendly everyone is(think my mom wanted to adopt lord suston) Alot of seasoned competitors repeatedly mentioned how well everything ran and how it was one of if not the best ran tourney they had been to.

we had a killer time. i loved it. i met some really cool people this weekend and it was the most fun i've had in a while. it was so cool to meet alot of the guys from the board. i was impressed w/everyone especially the guys that haven't even used the implements much. I have much respect for all the yorkers. all those guys showed that they had the heart to fight and not stop till the time was out. lord suston, polishhammer, t3c..you all did great. you guys send me ur email addys to [email protected] and ill send ya all the pics i got from my camera. got lots of pics of everyone. and joker...that guy was awesome too....really strong guy with alot of talent and really cool. and ironlion....he was a beast to say the least. it was also cool to finally meet the infamous spatts. she was real cool. my gf really liked her. couldnt quit talkin bout her.lol. funny, not too long ago my gf was always raggin me for bein on this board all time and everything. now she says she understands and i'm sure she will have a username and be on here w/in the next day or two.;) she really had a great time and said that she really liked everyone there and just loved how everyone supported each other and cheered for each other, even the people they were competing against. guess i've rambled enuff for now.

and a BIG THANK YOU to clint and his family for going through all the work he did to put on such a great contest. it ran really well and quick. i loved it.
 
It's been summed up... it was a GREAT time, and Clint put on a VERY GOOD show.

Everybody busted their ass... which is the important part... and the New Yorkers managed to do it without too much cussing, lol.

And, most importantly, we represented Swain at the buffet.

yea the waitress said " may i ask who's picture that is on the back of the seat" i thought i was gonna fall out laughin.. yea we had to make a big toast to swain at the buffet.
 
Everyone there really impressed me. Especially the ones who had never touch any strongman implements before. As everyone has said, Clint put on a very good show. His family was a huge help also. Everyone should be very proud.
 
Brain.............. man you improve everytime i see you. and thats the name of this game. you keep training your butt of and you can defeat zimmerman,............. he's only human.

you know exodus, that is what i told someone last night, may have been u all. in april i thought he was from another planet, now he does appear to be a human.

Sounds like everyone had fun. Good for you. Now when you type to each other on the boards it`ll be with a little different feeling, cause you already met and know each other. That`s cool.

yes it will. it was really nice to be able to get to meet some ppl from the boards and put a face with the names. everyone was really nice.. met alot of really cool ppl this weekend. i had a great time.

I was, lord suston, great to hang with you. you are a great guy, as are the rest on this board. hope we can have a big training day'/tourney again soon. You all put together a new yawk training day and i'll do my best to be there:)
