SO LONG DAN......DANIEL DUCHAINE 1952-2000 by Will Brink

Jan 14th 2000. I sit looking out the window of my office watching the snow fall and write this article with a heavy heart. Dan "the guru" Duchaine passed away in his apartment in Southern California January 12th, 2000. He was 47 years old.

i ordered his underground steroid handbook and while i was waiting for it to come in the mail he died..kinda wierd reading the book knowing he was no longer with us..besides the info it was an entertaining read and at times humorous..kinda like a P.J O'rourke and/or Hunter S thompson book on steroids

Yeah. He wasn't always right but he was the only one speaking at some times. In college I wrote him a letter and he was nice enough to respond. I got the letter back with arrows and margin notes in response to questions. I appreciated this thread post because it made me really like the guy now. He probably was too good for this world. Most reclusive people are too intelligent and moralistic to join the rat race.
