Damn you, Nelson!

I am going to give this a try tomorrow Nelson. I love training legs & calves. I am a sadist. I will report as to how they feel. Something tells me that they may not be as sore as I hope because I am already used to a tortourous level of calf training but I will be optomistic.

Currently I hit calves twice a week and they are already pretty big. I do donkey calf raises for something I fail at 50 reps then do a drop set with half the weight until failure (usually 20-30 range). I then go over to the calf sled (kinda like hack squat calf raises)and do the same thing. Two days later I do seated calf raises only with the same method. I used to do 3 or 4 consecutive drop sets.

I was actually wanting to ask that same question the other day.

That is the only place I am genetically gifted.

I just measured mine and they are 17 3/4" cold!

I have worked my calves only once in the last 6 years and that was Sunday. I did Nelsons workout.Thursday, they are still sore!!
 
Ah, yes. I did them on Tuesday afternoon. A little bit of an ache yesterday - did a wee bit o cardio. But this morning, fuck, i nearly fell down getting out of bed.

I've been alternating between the standing and seated calf raise with terrific results.
