Damn, working out can be discouraging

OK, I have shitty genetics for anything athletic. I have low natural test levels, everyone in my family is either skinny or fat, I have flat feet, asthma, and a damned pituitary tumor to boot (I won't even get into my anxiety/panic attack problems)

I've lifted for 15 years now and stand a menacing 5'8" and weigh all of 175. I've bulked up to 200 at one time but I was a fat ass. I have to struggle to make gains even on a cycle (actually I'm on test therapy so I'm sort of always on a cycle). Then there's this guy at my gym that just started lifting about 2 years ago and is about 6'4" 240 lbs and shredded with 19" guns. He doesn't work out any harder than I do but damn he gains like a mofo. Sometimes I think I can see his muscles growing in between his sets!

So what's the point of this rant? Life just ain't freakin fair.

No shit.. Life's not fair at all, I hate my life FTF.... Only thing I have going for me is my natural growth abilities.. I have ALWAYS been fat, all my life.. shitty ass metabolism.. but... I have always had muscle, and gain very fast now...

You have to realize that working out is long term..

You will have good days and bad.

If you only work out to get big; you will; in the long run
be discorage.

It must be something you do for your health and to feel good.
It should be something you do for life..

I do it because I feel so much better...
But everyone is different..

No flame I just want to help! :D

Set realistic goals and work towards them. But aim high. If you have not made ANY gains or changes in 15 years you have to re-evaluate your work out and diet.
