Damn Soy!!!

Seems like everything has damn Soy in it! WTF is going on?! I don't want Soy in my body. Even protein powders have soy in them. Alex Rogers, owner or Protein Factory told me that ALL protein powders contain Soy. Its what makes them become "instanized". There's only one brand of protein powder that doesn't have Soy in it. But the stuff is expensive as hell!

So what the hell do I do?

Anyone here NOT taking any protein powders? But instead rely on actual food for protein?

But doesn't it get a bit more expensive? 50grams of Whey or Egg White protein is cheaper than say 2 Big pieces of chicken that add up to 50grams of protein. No??

BIG BLAST and GEAR contains NO SOY. They are not instantize, but what does that matter? You mix BIG BLAST in a a blender and GEAR is in caps.

The 2 best proteins you can get at any price.

i seldom use protein powder anymore due to my schedule and I am gaining fine...actually really like it

If you can get enough quality protein (eggs, fish, low fat cottage cheese) you don't need to supplement. But it's so much easier for me to use shakes and GEAR, BECAUSE of a busy schedule. And no doubt about it, results are better when amino intake is higher. Thats a fact.

I'm actually starting to dislike using shakes. I feel full on them. But not satisfied. Full stomach but empty. Hard to explain. I notice more strength and energy and better mood when I actually eat as opposed to drinking a shake. I eat and can sustain energy and mood and strength for 3-4 hours. On a shake...2 hours at the MOST before I start to get a little hypoglycemic.

Think I'm just going to drink Tuna shakes from now on IF I really need to. Really want to avoid powders due to Soy. And want to avoid Whey because it comes from pregnant females cows. I'm HIGHLY against dairy. Dairy increases my progesterone and estrogen. So it wouldn't make any sense for me to consume Whey that comes from a pregnant female.

A little soy is fine, even benificial, but pure soy just shouldn't be your main supplment source and raw soy products such as tofu, should be avoided.
