Negotiating and securing talent appearances is a relatively big part of my job. Goddamn, it never ceases to amaze me how much these fucks get for just an hour of bullshitting with some customers/attendees. Forget salaries and contracts, appearance fees are where the dough is at.

That's like people bitching about ticketmaster. My advice : "Maybe if you retards STOPPED buying $200 tickets, ticketmaster would have no choice but to lower fees".

But people don't. Ticketmaster isn't a fucking charity.

Remember : "People get in life what they NEGOTIATE, not what they deserve". A soldier makes $40k. A porn star makes $80k.

When I'm going out to secure a celebrity for an event/appearance, always gotta go through the agent (even if I have a relationship or history with the celeb). But once they arrive to the appearance we deal directly with the celebrity. Most end up being pretty cool, down to earth people.
