90 degrees here in Ft. Lauderdale. What a bitch. At least after six, the temps will cool off. Unlike Atlanta, NYC and other places where it stays hot and muggy even after dark. Thank god for ocean breezes.

Stay inside is all I do here. I go to the beach early AM for my swim, but I am off the beach by 11AM, then it is home, eat, nap, watch tv, play on the net until after 7 when I go to the gym. But damn, the heat just drains you.

I am thinking of finding someplace to live in the summer months that is cooler. Because this heat is a bitch in the summer. Also, summer here is off season, so there is no crowd and most places are pretty slack. (Resturants and clubs, etc...) But from October to April, there is no other place I would like to be.

RIGHT NOW ITS CLOUDY BUT IT IS NORMALLY 90-95 WITH A HEAT INDEX OF 105-110 DUE TO THE HUMIDITY.

LAST YEAR WHEN I WENT TO L.A., I STAYED OUT THERE FOR TWO WEEKS AND LOVED IT. THE HEAT WAS DRY HEAT AND I DIDNT EVEN BREAK A SWEAT ON VENICE BEACH. I GOT BACK HOME, GOT OFF THE PLANE AND GOT SICK IMMEDIATLY.

Damn that is hot. The last time I was in Vegas was two years ago. I went in June. I thought that being it was June, and Vegas was in the desert, it would be hot as hell. But it was actually FREEZING. I mean literally. I went on a tour bus to see Red Rock Canyon or whatever it was called, and no one would get off the bus, it was that cold. Two days after I left the rains came and there was that flash flood that killed 30 people and flooded all the casinos. So I guess I got out in time.

The closer to the beach, the more you pay. You can go two miles west of the beach and rent/prices will drop 40-50%. No joke. I live in Victoria Park which is sort of undergoing a renaissance of improvement and the property values go up. I bought two unit and combined them in my building. I have another small unit in another building nearby that I rent out 5 months of the year to a snowbird and it pays the mortgage for the entire year and puts $200 extra in my pocket each month.

You can look for bargains in Wilton Manors, Victoria Park, any area between Commercial and Oakland.
