Damn I'm sunburned

aloe lotion,I got that crap smeared all over me right now,Im a fucking lobster,and it will only get worse,its too hot to cover up
 
seriously, take tylenol. nothing will reverse the burn, but it helps with the pain.

i heard vinegar works, but not for me.

Same boat bor. I'm the moron who went rafting and put oil on instead of sunscreen. I heard 79 and cloudy... ended up being 95 and no clouds. I can't move my arms or bend my knees. I loaded up on Solarcaine with Aloe... stuff works wonders. :)
 
I am butt-ass naked because wearing clothes hurts to much...

I'm about to take a bottle of aspirin and bathe in some aloe-vera lotion...
 
It sucks to go through, but throw some wet towels in your freezer and put them on the burn. It helps draw the heat out. I got the worst burn of my life on vacation in the Caymans, and I did that, took Tylenol, and slathered it with aloe.

take advil instead - tylenol is rough on the liver.

I was glad it rained today because my Bro was wanting to go swimming today and I was in no condition...

I was in the pool for 2 hours before they woke up from there naps and maybe another hour afterwards...

I stopped at a vitamin shop to pick up some taurine. The overweight, lack of muscle store clerk proceeded to educate me about which supplements I needed...

The was the most exciting thing that happened to me today.

I can remember as a kid going down to Hackberry and catching em all day. Then having a huge crab boil the next day. All the family would be there.

I miss that place so bad.

We would have crab boils, crawfish boils all the time at my brother's house in Chenier Perdoux. It all got blown away by Rita.

He lost everything in Rita.

But he is going to rebuild in the same location. He has a couple of hundred acres down there in Cameron Parish.

and hurricane season officially starts again on Thursday. I am so not looking forward to it. I have never left for a hurricane before but this time I am hauling ass. I am sure I can find somewheres to go away from here.

My cousin manages a Walmart somewhere near where you are at...anyway, his mom came up during the hurricanes.

I cant ever remember evacuating as a kid. I lived there 21 years without having to leave...but I wouldnt hesitate anymore.
 
Buy some Aloe Vera with Lidocaine. The Lidocaine will definately help with the burning. Make sure you have Lidocaine in it. It will make a hell of a differance.

I have stayed during all of them...but I decided that life is too short. I am not going to take any chances anymore. Gonna haul ass the minute they say one is headed this way!!! The last few were awfully scary!

She is as hard headed as a mule...Wouldnt leave...Wasnt gonna leave.

Her mom and her sisters rode out Hurricane Audry.

She left when Rita came through. Almost not soon enough.

I didnt make the thread. But my workout partner did. So its no biggie.

I was there for Andrew. And I'm sure I was there for others before Andrew...just cant remember.

Rita devastated DeQuincy. Thats unreal for the storm to come that far inland at Hurricane strength.

It was a terrible storm. Hopefully we can go another 10 years before another one like that. I think I wanna move. :worried:

But there is absolutely no place like Louisiana in this world.

I couldnt stick to my diet there...I know that.

The food in the convenience stores is better then in most restaurants.

Only place in the world you can buy fried bread stuffed with crawfish etouffee....

I ordered redsnapper when I was down last...

Thought I was eating healthy...they poured crawfish etouffee over it...and then had lump crabmeat augratin next to it...

its not uncommon to be thrown right out of a the raft,paddles go everywhere and one or two rapids are pretty shallow in the summer. not like their helmets do much they are like a margarine container
 
Take a benadryl. No lie. I got severely sunburned and my doctor friend said benadryl and aloa are the best.
