I got the results back from my MRI today and everything was OK, except for the AC joint. It showed excessive wear and tear on it.
Anyway, the doctor starts asking questions about whether I lift or not. I know where this is heading, it's the weight lifting that is hurting your shoulder, not work related. I explain that no I have not lifted any weights since the injury in April. He insists that it is the weights and I need to stop lifting for awhile. EXCUSE ME!!! I haven't lifted in almost 6 months.
Basically he gives me another cortisone shot, this time at the AC joint. Then he tells me that I can go back to work, that I will just have to live with the pain.
I asked the people at work about getting a second opinion and they said that I could and that I can get my own doctor, not a company doctor. They told me that this doctor was a little eccentric. You say eccentric, I say nuts.
I say that I asked them at work, they might have a slightly different description of how I asked.
