i had 2 runs with dnp.

the first was 10 days.
felt extremely tired and even efedrine didnt do too much to boost energy levels.
worked out only twice and both workouts were pathetic. in all, lost about 4 pounds of fat. keep in mind, i did zero cardio.. but i ate clean.

the second run was for 2 days..
the fatigue was just too much to endure.

in all, i'd say stick with the nelson plan for fat loss..
eat less/exercise more.

should you decide to use dnp, i'd strongly recommend following fonz/macro's 10 day dnp plan.. do a search and youlll find it somewhere.

what are your stats and why do you think you need to use this?

how long have you worked out? have you ever cycled? what is your routine diet and all that good stuff..

if you read up in here about diet training and supps i think you will stick to less exotic methods to loose a few lbs

good luck and be safe

I use DNP, don't even consider it until you tried ECA, Clen, Thermo. You need to understand how your body handles different diets and different supplements. I am on day 3 right now as well is my buddy. This is his first time. He did 200mg day 1 and day 2. This morning took 200mg and was suppose to take another 200mg around 4 but he told me he is done. He doesn't like how warm he feels, he doesn't like the lathargic feeling and he doesn't like the sweating. Do a ton of research and then post and when people see you ahve done your work they will help you.

im on my first cycle, and on my 8th of ten days,by the time the week is over I will have done cardio 7 out of ten days, cheated a bit on diet last weekend, but so dar only lost 2lbs,Im sure its more once I drop water.but even if its only 2lb I think it was worth it,I didnt get tired like most, just had trouble getting to sleep a few nights and sweat like hell

I'm in the "can't stand DNP crowd". This should not be one of the first things you jump into for weight loss or whatever other reason. The only time that I will incorporate DNP into my program now is just for its alleged receptor refreshing or cleaning properties and controlled catabolism for a few days before hitting the sauce. It just makes me feel like total shit!!!

I like DNP and its results. I am on a kind of continuous DNP cycle to get to my desired weight. I will run anywhere from nothing to 400mg/day depending on how I feel and what is planned for the weekend and/or work.

If I am going to go out on Saturday night, I probably will only take 200mg on Friday morning. Then Sunday I would start up if I am in the condition to do so (not hung over, etc.)

If I take enough to really heat me up at night and I have problems sleeping I will usually only let that happen 1-2 nights and then I will cut back to nothing for 1 day or so. I was on 400mg/day for a few days and my workouts were fine. Then all of sudden they went in the crapper, so I backed off a few days and let my body recharge abit . It takes a few days for the DNP to leave your system so it still is having an effect on metabolism on the off days just not as great.

If you run DNP high enough for enough days, your glycogen gets depleted, making your workouts difficult and making your muscles look flat. That why I like to have a recharge period also.

There is a lot of good info and experiences about DNP on this board and others. You should take the time to read them and understand the pros and cons.

DNP is highly toxic. Physicians in the 1940's used to prescribe it for weight loss for a short time...until too many people started dying.
DNP causes Hydrogen ions to be able to cross the mitochondrial inner membrane without using the ATP synthase port. Electron transport continues, but ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production stops. Simply, ATP is a carrier of energy; it's how our bodies store energy so we can recognize and use this energy. This is why you feel tired and lethargic.
Because the H+ ions "leak" through the membrane, the gradient required for ATP synthesis is dissipated. Cells continue to consume Oxygen at a high rate, but they cannot make any more ATP. This is why your workouts were shit because you had no energy.
DNP halts chemiosmosis, consuming ALL fuel molecules, and almost all the energy is lost as heat. DNP is a poison. Eventually it poisons the system to the point that you die. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

dnp is one of thsoe things i wish duchaine never dragged out of the past

in a clinical setting, sure, why not, but i was on fitnessgeared reading about a guy who was taking daily doses of about 800mg a day...i was waiting for the posts to stop because i thought he was going to die

normal people are not nearly cautious enough.

even those who 'only' take 200mg a day as their first ever dose are taking 4x more than i would like to see them take. this is one of the most unforgiving drugs out there, and a hypersensitivity to it will be fatal at 200mg a day

anyway ill stop ranting now
