The standard approach to dbol seems to be to take it for 4 weeks at the beginning of a cycle to "kickstart" things. But given how long it takes test levels from longer acting esters to rise, you are really talking about a "dbol only" cycle for the first 3 weeks. And the recommendation is to stop using it to save your liver etc. after 4-6 weeks.
How about this idea instead. Take dbol for 3 weeks at the start of a 10 week cycle, stop for 4 weeks, and resume dbol for 3 weeks.
At the end of a cycle (don't know about you but this is my experience) you are feeling burned out and overtrained and maybe not growing as well as you should due to catabolic issues. Dbol is known to be an excellent anticatabolic agent and gives almost everyone a terrific pump and boost in their workouts.
I think if you took it this way you might get another 3-4 lbs. out of a cycle and turn so-so results into excellent results.

wks 1-10 deca @ 200-300 mg/wk
wks 1-2 dbol@ 40 mg/day
wk 3 dbol@30mg/day
wks 7-9 dbol@ 40 mg/day
