D-bell presses!!

Anyone have a good suggestion for getting d-bells into starting position on shoulder presses..seems like it takes a lot of effort to get em up, possibly costing me a rep or 2? Im sure i can push bigger bells but dont think i can get em up there lol..

kick them up when you are seated? I train with my brother so he could hand them to me..just that tonite i reached for the 90's couldnt get them up and felt i wasnt worthy of them lol..pissed i had to re -rack em..ill get em next week..thanks for the suggestion bro
 
Rest them on your knees while seated, then stand quickly while forcing the dbells up. Then sit back down and press! Kinda like a clean. I usually have someone assist me 100% with the first rep b/c it takes some out of you just getting them into position
 
After kicking back the dumbells, Ill usually get a lift off for the first rep, when I go heavy. It can be real difficult to get the dumbells up starting against your shoulders. After the first rep you should be good.
 
Thanks walking appreciate all the help..Makes me wanna hit my shoulders right now lol..but im definitely gonna take all the advice for next week!!
