cytomel HELP!!!!

tapoutm

New member
I need to lose some fat in the next couple of weeks with out killing my thyriod. I was told to do this stack(25/25/25/50/50/50/75/75/75/100/100/100/75/75/75/50/50/50/25/25/25 µg/day) for three weeks and then take clen. for 3 weeks and back on cytomel. I don't need to lose tons of fat I just need a little help so I was thinking I would start off with a small dose and run it for 3 weeks EXAMPLE: (25mg x 3 weeks) would I get any results from this.

My goal: I weigh 216 today and I have to be at 197 in two weeks!!! I am kinda nerves to take it to be honest, we train and run like crazy and I have never takin anything like this do you guys think it will be ok for me to take and at what strenght. I am a wrestler for those that don't know me. Any help please!!!...............TAPOUTM :garza:

Bump for the vets.

Cytomel is wicked shit. If you are afraid of dosages, then cut them in half. I have never used this product before but it has peaked my interest. I don't know what 1/2 dosages would work like, But bro, if you decide to use it...Be careful.

You might want to try some OTC diuretics. The don't do much for me, but is males a lot of people piss like a race horse.

Tap -

I would personally go up on the dosage faster (every 2 days instead of every 3 days), and come down slower (taper it right down to 12.5/12.5/12.5 then off). It will help you prevent any sort of hypothyroid-mitigated rebound effect (which might occur, even with clen).

Looks good to me otherwise!

for the amount of weight you want to lose i would just use the full doses of 25 up to 100 then back down. Cytomel will help you lose but from my experience it is not a magical drug, when used with clen and a good eca it will leave you lean and hard, i think cutting the cyto in half might be a waste.

Thanks Dr. M that sounds good.

To let you guys into a little of what our practices are like so you can see if I should take such high doses. We run at 4:00 pm in the hottest part of the day it has been in the 100's all week. To start off we jog 2 laps then we have to run stadiums (which are not small their double deck college stadiums we run both sides and top and bottom) for the first thing. Then we do buddy carries and wheel barrels up the stadiums (this is where you go up the stadiums on your hands while your partner holds your feet). Then we go back down jog 2 miles and go into the weight room lift and then go to the wrestling room and wrestle for an 1 1/2. We switch up the running from stadiums to sprints every other day. Sprint day we run 8/ 400 yard sprints to start off and alot of other sprint type stuff that is crazy.

Basically what I am trying to figure out is with all this training and running do I really need such high doses or will just a little bit 25 mg a day for 30 days do me fine?....Please some one help!!! TAPOUTM

With all the insane training (been there myself - college football), I'd think that topping out at 75 in 4 or 5 days, then keeping 75 for 2 or 3 weeks, then coming down in a week or two might be your best bet. 100 might be a bit much if you don't want to go myo-catabolic (i.e. lose muscle mass).

Best thing I can think of is try it and see if 50 will give you the results you want... it's easy to increase the dosage if it doesn't, right?

...welcome to the sauna with plastic suit. do you guys weigh in 24 hrs before the match or is it like we did 1 hour before the match....

O man I have done this more times than I can remember. Yes we have to weigh in 1 hour before we wrestle you must have just finished because they changed that rule of 24 hours before the match about 5 years ago or so.....TAPOUTM

O ya we get the hydration test I hate these stupid things man. I sent you a pm to explain with more info....TAPOUTM

Whoever told you 3weeks on 3 weeks off doesn't understand thyroid function.

You are hypothyroidic for 4-6 weeks after using T3 (yes even for only 3 weeks.) You need to wait 8 weeks before starting another course, if not longer.

I would try a high fiber, vegetable/vegetable juice fast for 2-3 days and get all residual fecal matter out of the digestive track. Then go with OTC diuretics like dandelion root and avoid sodium at all costs.

I don't know does anyone agree or disagree with this. Not trying to be rude Big Andy but I have never heard this do you have any studies to prove.......TAPOUTM:confused:

Of course I do! :)

N Engl J Med 1975 Oct 2;293(14):681-4
Recovery of pituitary thyrotropic function after withdrawal of prolonged thyroid-suppression therapy.
Vagenakis AG, Braverman LE, Azizi F, Portinay GI, Ingbar SH.

The pattern of thyrotropin secretion was analyzed in seven euthyroid women, before and after withdrawal of long-term thyroid hormone, by serial measurements of thyroid 131l uptake, serum thyroxine, tri-iodothyronine, and thyrotropin concentrations, and the response to thyrotropin-releasing hormone. During exogenous hormone administration, 131l uptake was suppressed, and serum thyrotropin concentrations before and after administration of thyrotropin-releasing hormone were undetectable. After withdrawal of exogenous hormone, thyrotropin secretory function was transiently impaired, as indicated by undetectable basal
thyrotropin concentrations together with absence of response to thyrotropin-releasing hormone, and subsequently by normal values of basal thyrotropin concentration and normal responses to releasing hormone while serum thyroxine and tri-iodothyronine concentrations were subnormal.

:::IMPORTANT::::

Decreased thyrotropin reserve persisted for two to five weeks. Detectable values of serum thyrotropin (less than 1.2 muU per milliliter) and a normal 131l uptake usually occurred concurrently in two to three weeks. Serum thyroxine concentration returned to normal at least four weeks after hormone withdrawal.

Even with a small dosages of 25mcg, I might go up to 50mcg but that is it and then taper down with 25mcg then 12.5mcg for the last dose. I was just wondering if you knew what the study's dosages were or does it matter....

Thanks big andy I have been reading up on you and you have posted a lot of T-3 stuff. Thanks for the hlp. Since I already started, at what dose do you recommend for me to take. I don't need to take huge amounts because we run, lift, and wrestle everyday. I though just a little will help but I would like to here what you think.........TAPOUTM:confused:

You can either take a low 12.5mcg dose to supercharge your thyroid or go to the 75mcg + levels but not the 25-50mcg amount as it is pretty much what your thyroid puts out as standard.

Your thyroid will close down and all you will be doing is replacing the levels your thyroid put out in the first place.

I recommend a very low dose approach and see how you get on.
High doses in your case may not be beneficial at the end of the day.

That's decent advice.

25mcg made me feel like shit...12.5mcg is a great dose.
