Cyrex's First Steroid Cycle

This thread will be my method (for now) to track my progress on my very first cycle.

The cycle is as follows:
Steroids:
Test En 250mg/mL
Test 250(sust) 250mg/mL


wk1-5
.5mL Test250
.5mL Test En
on Sunday and Wednesday evening

wk6-10
1mL Test En

wk1-10
.5mg Arimidex EOD


Supplements:
Sesapure
Glucorell
Flinstone Vitamins :-)
Creatine


Goals: Gain strength and lean muscle mass

Current stats:
6'4"
258 lbs
16% bf

12 week goal:
265 lbs
13% bf
This would require losing about 6lbs of fat and gaining 11 lbs of muscle.

I will be eating near maintenance + 500 calories to begin with and see how things go with about 400g of protein per day
 
First injection went quit well.
Shot into my right ass cheek with no problems at all
I expect it to be a little sore tomorrow, but nothing I can't handle
 
YEAH! First poke... sweet.. it's all uphill for the next 12 weeks!

Will you be posting the strength gains you're realizing as you notice as well?

I don't think I can give you K yet, but i'll try again! :coffee:
 
haha Yeah I'll try to post what I can.

I'm thinking I might cut it short to 8 weeks if I see good results that way I can recover sooner and have more left over. I'd rather not deal with diminishing returns.

We'll see how it goes :-)

Injection spot is just a little sore to the touch (with a good amount of pressure applied). I think it's mostly just a knot in the muscle (i hope . . .). It rubs out after 5 min or so.

Feeling nothing yet (as expected) but I did have a great chest workout today.

Unfortunately I was an unlucky soul and forgot to go grocery shopping this last weekend so I didn't have much to take to the office for my meals there so I had to go out for lunch. I wanted something very high in protein so I went to a Joes Crab Shack a block away and ate 1.5 lbs of crab legs and a small side salad. WOW was that ever good. $26 bucks for the entire meal but it was quite a treat considering it was mostly protein + the small salad.
 
Nice meal improvisation.... that sounds very good! ... what I would do for a fresh Maine lobster, lol... just "short" drive but still, the things I would do for delivery!


Dun, Dunnnn, DUNNNNN... waiting for the boost from the performance enhancing drugs ;)
 
with the sust it should actually start to kick in SLOWLY in the next week or two but it's a fairly low dose of sust and even lower dose of the short last esters so I'll probably just get horny and notice slightly faster recovery times.
4 weeks and we'll see for sure
 
So I did a tally on my calories and WOW am I eating clean lol

I've been getting on average for the last 4 days:
398g of protein
275g of carbs
95g of fat

Averaging 3547 calories per day or so.
What foods have I eaten in the last 4 days:
Tuna
Chick Breast
Turkey Breast
Low fat cheeses (plan on cutting cheese out soon)
whole grain pasta
brown rice
Oats
Skim milk
Flax seed oil
olive oil
green beens
brocolli
lean ground beef
lean minute steak
mushrooms
eggs
low fat canadian bacon (little bit for omlettes)
Rice cakes (cheddar snack type)
romaine lettuce
balsamic vinegarette made with olive oil
sweet potato
salmon
orange roughy
whole grain wheet bread
peanut butter

That's it... Every food item I've consumed over the last 4 days these are not in order and no quantities available for you cause I'd have to go tally them up and my isn't ready yet to do that for me :-)
But for the most part it's been very clean with the closest thing coming to cheating has been the rice cakes and I usually only have 2 or 3 at a time and I've only been able to get my hands on them before my wife yesterday so it wasn't much.

Looks good I personally would not cut it short @ 8 wks. I think that 10 is ideal. Another thing is those rice cakes are super high on the glycemic index scale. Eating 2 or 3 of those at a time will jack yer insulin levels around. That part is nitpicky but figgered you may want to get rid of 'em.

I was thinking of the ones the size of a hamburger patty. The 1/2 dollar ones are fukn tiny :) and post w/o is a ok.

bench is up 20 lbs (i think it's cause of a change in training)

my 4th shot was last night i did my right quad and HOLY SHIT is it sore.. i even soaked in a hot bath last night for an hour and massaged it.. Ended up not going into work today cause it was so sore.. didn't call in either which was a big boo boo cause I was sleeping. i get a pay dock! WOOHOOO

So tonight I aspirated and injected and when I pulled the pin out a good amount of blood oozed out along with some oil. About 1 min later I started coughing.. not terribly but enough to know I probably had nicked a vessel and got a little in it. Not fun stuff.

I wonder if that means the that test that got in my bloodstream was wasted.


BTW when I aspirated i didn't get any blood..
 
yeah it didn't last long felt like I had inhaled a little saliva but I know I got a little in a blood vessel.

Kinda bumpy today I need to rub it out. It's not too sore though or warm so I'm not too worried about an abcess at this point.


Strength is THROUGH THE ROOF tonight.. wow.
deadlifts went great except my grip failed me on my last set :(

rows were crazy heavy and my curls I was able to do upright dumbell curls with 45s pretty easily after doing 10 sets of other exercises
 
I'm going slow on squats. I haven't found anyone at the Gym that I'd feel comfortable spotting me with heavier weights so I'm taking it slow.

I'm doing 265 very deep squats 3 sets of 5-6 reps pretty easily now. I keep bumping it up 10 lbs each week.

Leg press I had 9 plates on each side and a dude I was working in with (he said he was 240) standing on the sled. Popped out 5 reps before I got scared my knee was gonna give.

Bench is up to 255 for 5 reps
Got 100 lb dumbells up 3x for Inclined press last chest workout

Deadlift is stuck at 415 for 3 reps (need to get my ass in gear and grab some straps)

Yates rows are up to 235 3 sets of 5
Dumbell rows are up to 3 sets of 3 with 110 lb dumbells (again grip is an issue here)

Shrugs I've been going light and squeezing hard at the top. I think this is working better for my traps than upright rows and heavy shrugging was I typically just grab some 70lb dumbells and squeeze out 4 or 5 reps for a couple of sets then drop to the smallest metalic dumbells they have (50lbs??) and squeeze out as many as I can. My traps have been growing like a weed which has helped a lot with comfortable squats

I was bustin out some crazy curls yesterday doing cable curls and where last week I wasn't able to get the highest weight up more than 2x this time I did 3 sets of 6 with the highest weight after doing some 21s and preacher curls then went over and did some standing dumbell curls with 45s after about a 5 min rest. I had the hugest pump in my biceps I've seen in a while. For that 20 minutes they become crazy vascular.




On another note my ass cheek has a bruised lookin knot/bubble thing on it where I injected sunday. Something with the injection did not go right so I've been rubbing it and sitting under hot shower but it's still there. I'm guessing the oil must not have stayed in a pocket deep in the muscle as well as it should have popped up a little or I just hit a bad spot. Whatever the deal is it doesn't really hurt too much and it doesn't look infected. It may just be a clot + knot from hitting that blood vessel. Hopefully it goes down before the wife notices it and starts to get worried.

She has asked me a few times "So have you started yet?" I keep saying no cause I can tell she is worried about it for some reason. I just don't wanna deal with her being worried about it because of her lack of education on the issue.

A few more notes on weights right now:

Lat pulldowns with a close grip bar that helps me use lower lats with some more bicep have gone WAY UP. I don't really keep track of where I stick the pin as far as #s go I just pull down a bit when I have it at the right spot and can tell if that's where it needs to be for the set, but my back workout last night was so explosive with this one. I went ahead and dropped the pin about 4 plates lower than what I figured would be a good weight to stick at just to see how many reps I could get and while they were very slow/controlled reps I stayed with that setting for 5 sets of 6. I had to really focus on flexing my back to get the weight down rather than just using brute force with the proper movement. If I had just pulled down with all my might, I would have just lifted myself up off the seat.

I can't do pullups right now because my shoulder is still a bit sore from softball injury with the ROM required for pullups.
Same goes for heavy lifting on military press.
 
Nice bro... looks like everything going well minus the ROM issue with your shoulder.

:) you broke the 1/2 ton mark on the leg sled with the alleged 240lb dude on it.... excellent!

Oh yeah... and get some straps :p You'll be able to lift even more once your forearms can't hold anymore and you have straps
 
I've never had great ROM with my shoulder. I hurt it throwing shot put in HS and have had problems with it here and there since. It's even somewhat uncomfortable to reach back and hold the bar doing backsquats. my bump on my ass is going down. I think it was as suspected, mostly a mix of knot int he muscle and some blood/bruising from hitting a blood vessel
 
YES! Another Impliment Thrower! lol... I was on the weight team too. Did you see my post in collegate sports forum?... i dont' think anyone replied to it... bastards.

Gotcha, wow.... that's quite limited ROM. It's fine for overhead presses though? Mines usually pops... one time it literally hurt, and dropped a dumbell from pretty high... stopped doing presses for awhile then.

Good stuff... comes with the territory of poking I guess.
 
I do light weight and they are more like a mix of an overhead press/superinclined press

I did not see your post in the college sports forum (never check it)

but yeah I broke a few school records and a state record :-)
 
oh yeah.. on seated calf raises i'm up to 5 plates (most it can hold)
I do about 3 sets of 20-30 reps (until my calves feel like they are gonna start on fire)
last set I typically do slow 2 second reps for as many as I can (last time it was 15)
 
I got my ass into gear today and grabbed some straps...
i did 455 DL for 3 reps today. i feel fucking awesome. such a great feeling of well being . . .
 
I'm up another 3 lbs this week . . 281 now... I've up my calories a bit and have replaced a few regular whey shakes with muscle milk scoops to get some extra fat and carbs. Body fat tests show I'm at 14% now.

it's in a post somewhere... lol but it was about 1 week ago :-) I wanted to wait until I knew the test had kicked in and see what kind of effects it had on me (as far as sides). I have none so I tossed in the dbol which I'm gonna run for 4 weeks.

Unfortunately the dbol kicked my ass tonight (leg night) my lower back got burnt out on squats. I forgot to take my milk thistle before working out so I wasn't able to do leg press after back squats so I tossed in some front squats, some barbell lunges some dumbell SL Deadlifts, and a lot more machine work that I usually do. My calves got the fucking burn of my lifetime tonight too I did a 3 sets of 100 reps with 225 lbs on seated calf raises. On the 3rd set I immediatly dropped off 2 plates and did another 67 reps, got up took off 1 more plate, stretched until the burn stopped and did another 150 reps. Then I did some farmer walks with 130lb dumbells for about 1 minute never locking my knees with a slight bend in them the whole time and doing what I call 'Ice Walking' which you learn quickly living up north when it gets icey. Basically it's just curling your toes down very hard with each step to get as much grip as possible this completely owned my calves. To make up for the lack of volume on back squats, and leg press I did some HIIT on a very high level on the recumbant bike for 10 min, 10 min at a 10 degree angle on the treadmill at a medium paced walk and then jumped rope for 5 minutes. I had trouble walking out of the gym normal so despite the back pump that prevented me from hitting the heavy weights, I tore my legs up.

RE Dbol: That was deffinetly the way I would do it too, make sure the sides at least were tolerable before throwing it in for the first cycle... good job. Any reason you went with Dbol over others like Tbol, Anavar, ect? Curious.
 
cause dbol is stronger and cheaper? and cause I had it :-)

I have anavar on hand for my second cycle which I hope to start in about 5 months :-)
I'm thinking:

Test 250mg/wk wk1-14
Deca 400mg/wk wk1-12
dbol 30-40mg ED wk1-4
anavar wk 10-16

or quite possibly EQ instead of deca . . .
I think it will depend more on how much I'm able to cut between the end of this cycle and when I plan to start my 2nd
 
I'm on the one in my sig the one i mentioned above is an idea for the 2nd cycle and what do you mean 2 tests for the cycle? i mentioned only one...

I thought you were refering to my most recent reply in the thread..
explaination should be up there somewhere but basically i had 5mL of the QV Test 250 (sust) and tons of Test e.. since Test is test I just used up the sust with my test E. I did half and half to start until the sust ran out (i think there was less than 5 mL in the vial. It also served to kickstart my gains since the shorter esters in the sust will start kicking in way before Test E ever will. I did not plan it that way. I just did it to use up the sust. The original plan was just to do 500mg/wk of the Test E until a friend gave me the vial of test250. I didn't plan on getting any more of it so I just used it :-)

as far as what is in my sig. this is the same cycle. I don't have the details of the cycle in my sig cause it's not needed. the info in the sig is just to inform as to what compounds i am CURRENTLY (as in today) taking/have in my system.
 
for educational purposes, if someone did want to intentionally get a kickstart on a test only cycle it would be much better do do something like

test En/Cyp .5x mg/wk wk1-4 (divided into 2 injections of .25x per week)
test prop .5x mg/wk wk1-4 (divided into many injections - EOD or ED each week)
then:
Test En/Cyp x mg/wk wk5-12 (divided into 2 injections per week)

this allows you to get immediate kickstart with the prop within a few days because of the short ester. Then you can stop being a pincussion in favor of the 2x/week injections around week 5 when the Test E kicks in.

Or.. you can just go with Sust the whole way ;-)

I'm scared for your liver. Basically you typed orals for 10 weeks. Dbol dosage looks good.... but how much Var do you have/mg plan on running for 6 weeks?

I did research on var cuz i was going to do a Var only cycle... would have ran it 4-6 weeks (stop at 4 if i was happy with results) at 50-60 mg ed. (maybe gone up to 75 mg if I felt good about it?).

30-35ish (low) mg Var ed only shuts down natty levels so I've read.

So tell me about your next potential cycle :chomp:
 
Well on the 2 orals... I'll be taking supps to help the liver, also there is a full 6 week break with no orals in there. Also anavar is supposed to be pretty light on the liver compared to other orals.

i destroyed my chest, tris and bis tonight.

AWESOME 3 hour workout lol.

2 sets of 290 @ 6 reps on bench AFTER doing 3 sets of dips and some warmup bench sets with 135 and 225.
Then I proceded to knock out 3 sets of 8 with 110 lb dumbells on flat db press
next to incline db press 3 sets with 85s (wasn't feeling the shoulder tonight).

Next I hammered my bis. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do any bar sets (ez curl or straight) cause my wrists just aren't getting the ROM I need. I think it's from some water retention mixed with some swelling from overworking my grip lately. I was however able to do curls with 65s pretty easily for 10 reps each arm for my first set and 55s with some 1 arm concentration curls.

next I nailed my tris starting out with a close grip bench then some overhead tri extensions, skull busters/close grip press supersets, some cable tri extensions and some 1 arm behind the head extensions.
Then back to burn out the chest with some hammer machine press with 1 45 on each side for 60 reps for 2 sets (30 sec break in between). I wasn't able to get the full 60 reps on the 2nd set but I got close. Then I did another set to burn out my bis, over to do some 1 arm cable tri extensions and then some 1 arm cable fly sets and then over to pec deck for some 1 arm flys with the machine.

Tossed in about 10 minutes of HIIT on the recumbant bike and then 400 jumps with the jumprope trying for 75+ jumps in succession. I was pretty tired by then and clumsy so i didn't do too well until my last run of 100 which I did flawlessly. I was pretty proud of myself pushing that last bit. I think I ended up doing 123 jumps tossing in some crossover and double jumps at 110.

I'm gonna keep doing at least 15 minutes of cardio after each workout for the rest of this week and start getting used to the cardio. I'm already tapering down on my diet and eating fewer calories although I'm still at a surplus and will be for the next 2 weeks and then 1 week at maintenance. I plan on staying around there until my blood levels normalize. I'll try to drop about 10 lbs of fat and then toss in some clen/stimx cycling until I can get down under 10% bf.

I'd say right now I'm right at 15% bf give or take (i'm retaining more water than I had been at the moment). I've also stopped the dbol. The back pumps were getting to be too much and I got my strength boost I was hoping for on it.

All in all I'm 100% happy with the cycle thusfar and while I'm planning on ending it a bit early, I seen no reason why it should be a problem for the following reasons:

A) The test E actually lasts a good 2 weeks at gainable levels after the last injection which I think some people fail to recognize when they say that you should cycle at least 10 weeks.

B) I'm saving some of my Test to use a later date so I'm getting some great gains and using my gear more efficiently.

C) shorter cycle means shorter time of shutdown on natural test which should theoretically mean higher chance to recover natural test production back to 100% faster (not to be confused with recovering 100% faster).

I'll be the first to admit that I don't think I've reached my genetic limit. With that in mind I think I should be able to keep 95% of my gains without much problem. I'm excited to get back on my 2nd cycle and want to start my cutting diet ASAP so I can get my BF down and start looking really good.
 
so tonight I destroyed my legs and afterwards decided I'd go ahead and try a 1 rep PR on the bench.

I tossed on 135 and did 3 nice slow reps to get a good stretch/blood flow going. Tossed on 275 to make sure I could put that up once on my own easily enough. After a 3 min break
I tossed the 25s and replaced with 45s for 3 plates on each side

315 lbs
I only attempted 1 rep but it was a nice clean smooth rep. It was slow but steady and I got it up all on my own with a little tilt to my left side (weaker side).
Feeling pretty good now

I got my DL up past the 500 lb mark
got 3 plate bench milestone completed
I did 3 plates on each side for squats tonight Oly style (nice full range of motion) for reps.
My next milestones I'd like to hit is 545 for reps on DL, 415 on squats and 365 on bench.
Hoping to hit this sometime this summer. It's gonna be tough going off my cycle in the next few weeks and then going on a cutting diet for a while.

Congratz on getting back the "training wheels" (2 plate bench) to 3 plates!!! ... not that I have or anything, lol. That's awesome!
 
Had a terrible weekend (took a short vacation to Atlanta).

My laptop and luggage were stolen and my diet was not the best. We also visted Coca Cola World where I tasted 42 different flavors of soda. There is some NASTY SHIT they drink in Italy . . .



I haven't lifted since Friday so I'll be going back tonight. I'm gonna see how many reps I can do at 315. If I can get 2 easy enough I'm gonna toss on some 2.5s on each side just for that mental boost.

yes I meant bench.
My laptop didn't really have much on it that I don't have on my desktop. I work on remote servers typically and had Linux on it so everything was locked down pretty tight. I also had hard drive encryption running on it so they can't boot to a linux boot disk and get my data too easily either. If they try the wrong password 4x then a program will begin to run that will start writing a bunch of junk data over my existing data continuously while it is turned on, so I'm not too worried about any data that was on it. . .

on the other hand I am on a cycle and had 2mL that I took (near empty vial) which was to be injected the night my shit was stolen was also in the mix. (Well hidden)

I'm not too worried about it though. Almost hoping the fucking theives get caught with it and then get in trouble for posession . . . I can easily say it wasn't mine... they are the criminals, they probably tossed it in there...

I got 1.5 more weeks left (i decided to not cut it short).

tonight I had a great workout. I did deadlifts and then chest with some minor bi and tri work..

I knocked out 505 on the DL for 3 easy reps. I was gonna toss on some 25s on to try for 555 but I just wasnt feeling my short term recovery on my lower back as well as I wanted so I stopped after my heavy set. I'm feeling great now. Glad I didn't push it too much.

Next I headed over to bench did 3 slow warmup reps with the bar and then tossed on 2 plates on each side. Knocked those out for 15 reps and then mustered the courage to stick another plate on each side and 10s on each side for a total of 335. I had a guy spot me who looks like he is a testosterone factory. You know the guy that has dark thick hair all over his arms, thick 5 o'clock shadow. almost unibrow and some solid muscle. He isn't too big but I've seen him bench 375 with little to no trouble and no spot. Anyways he was my favorite spotter so far. I told him I hadn't tried this much yet so I wasn't sure how many I'd get out. He didn't touch the bar one bit he just stood behind and got me psyched up. I knocked out 3 reps on my own and racked it myself without him moving his hands from his side which was nice because there is no doubt that I did all 3 reps completely on my own. I think next week I'm gonna try to go for 350 and see if I can get it up.

I did a number of other sets of stuff including some 75 lb dumbell curls which seemed almost too easy tonight.

I finished the night off with a set of 8 db presses on a flat bench using the 120 lb dumbells (highest my gym has). I got the reps out pretty easily but the last two reps I was making some noise. I didn't have a spotter and I probably should have had one for those last two reps cause I pushed myself a little further than I probably should with that heavy of a weight incase my arm gave out and it fell down at the wrong angle but the set went fine. My 7th rep was very slow and I almost got stuck midway but a loud grunt got it up. I paused for about 2 sec at the bottom before my 8th rep and took a deep breathe, got myself psyched up and grunted out another solid/smooth rep with a nice slow negative and proceded to drop the weights on the ground.

I also tossed in some bar only squats to stretch out my legs, hip flexors and shoulder/arms (holding the bar). I did 3 sets of 20 with a narrow stance, shoulder width stance and then a wide sumo stance.

By the time I was done with my workout I felt like I needed to throw up which is a feeling I haven't had for a while. It was a good feeling know I really worked my ass off.

I arrived at the gym around 6:50 and didn't leave until 9:20.
I am gonna try to start making my workouts a little more concise so I can get in and out faster, but the brute strength I'm gaining is addicting.

It's good reading your journal. Your gains are very impressive. When your cycle is over, would you mind posting exactly what your gains were in the 3 major lifts as well as your weight?

Also, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know how your PCT is going and how you're working to keep your gains. I'd like to try a cycle but my biggest concern is keeping most of my gains. Thanks and good luck to you.

I had a guy spot me who looks like he is a testosterone factory. You know the guy that has dark thick hair all over his arms, thick 5 o'clock shadow. almost unibrow and some solid muscle. He isn't too big but I've seen him bench 375 with little to no trouble and no spot. Anyways he was my favorite spotter so far.
HAHAHAHA... there's always a dude like that in the gym somewhere!

I did a number of other sets of stuff including some 75 lb dumbell curls which seemed almost too easy tonight.

My curls were pretty strict form, the last rep on each side I bent a little to get some momentum but very little.


as far as lift progress this is basically what I've done during the cycle:

bench was at about 135 for reps (i had a shoulder injury last fall and was taking it easy) each week I was able to go up 10-lbs or so for reps pretty easily. I attribute this more to healing than strength gains. If I had to guess I would say when I started I could have probably done 215 about 4 or 5 times had I not had the shoulder injury.

Deadlifts were fairly low mostly cause of my grip and lack of straps once my grip failed so I can't really say what I was at other than what I know I was doing.

Squats will be relatively low for the next 2 or 3 years I'm thinking since I'm still very very weary of destroying my 3 yr old ACL from a dead dude. I swear the ACL came from a black guy cause I think my dick has gotten bigger since then . . .
I do nice slow, ass to the ankle type squats and supplement with hack squats, front squats, leg press, lunges, etc.
So with those assumption:

Bench: 215x5 -> 315x3 in about an 8 week period
Deadlift: 315x8 -> 505x4 in about an 8 week period
Squat: 135x8 -> 375x5 since December 15th

I'm guessing that I could probably squat 445 if I was willing to take the risk on my knee, but I have no feeling in a 2 inch radius around my knee so when there are problems, I don't notice them right away so I'm VERY VERY carefull about it. I cut it on a bedframe about 8 months ago and had a huge gash in it but didn't notice the cut until I felt my sock wet from all the blood dripping down my leg. I can only imagine what kind of damage to the actual joint could happen before I notice it.

leg extensions though I'm able to do 20 reps on the leg extension machine at the highest weight which is listed as 305 lbs???

curls have gone from using 40s to 75s for dumbel curls, dumbell bench press has gone from 70s to 120s in the last 8 weeks. I think I could probably push up 150s but 120 is the highest they go and without having some help getting into position 120s kinda scare me cause I have a big back and if I don't fall back right I get off balance and might fall of the bench.. :( lol

luckily i was doing a test drop without the dumbells.

I have a very long torso also so for my head to be on the bench my ass needs to be RIGHT on the edge of the bench.

That's an incredible cycle if you ask me. If you wanted to try to compare apples to apples and give a little benefit of the doubt, would it be accurate to say:

Bench: 225x3 -> 315x3
Deadlift: 365x4 -> 505x4
Squat: 185x5 -> 375x5

?

If you didn't notice, I just added a little to your starting weight and evened out the reps. Does that look fairly accurate? If so, that's an amazing jump.
It's my ultimate goal to reach 500 on the deadlift. Congrats and keep us posted.

I'd say that is close..
the best measurement on there though is DL since it was really the only one that I don't feel my health affected as far as my starting area. If you look at percentage of strength gained on a single lift you get:

40% increase on Bench
38% increase on Deadlift
and 103% increase on squat

but again I want to stress that I have been very weak mentally when it comes to squats so I think the strength was there on squats to do more than the numbers show. As far as bench goes, I'd say the shoulder injury I had effected it a little, but I do know it was my weakest body part and my bench just was not very strong to begin with. I've been hitting it hard. Lately iv'e been doing chest about once every 5 days or so really trying to get it bigger. It has worked :-) I'll be satisfied once I'm able to put up 405 a few times, but I don't expect that to come for some time. I would like to get my squat up to 495 eventually but I will take that as slow as I possibly can. Deadlift would be great to get up to 650+. I'm tall so I am at a disadvantage with it. I can already lift 675 off the rack at mid thigh level, so hopefully I can drop that distance down over time.

I am interest in maybe doing a BB competition in 2 years or so, but between now and then I think I'd like to try some local powerlifting and strongman competitions. I have the natural size for it.

I would also like to point out that I did not start a cycle because I thought I was at my natural peak. I wanted results and I wanted them fast. I fully admit to taking the easy path, but there is no way anyone can tell me that I would have gained this much strength had I not gone on a cycle. I look at it as an advantage. I'm getting where I want to be faster and since I most likely have NOT reached my genetic limits, I should have no problem keeping the gains I've made. I would almost argue that this is a more efficient and logic use of steroids.
As a matter of fact I will make a post about that controversial topic right now :-)
 
Last night I did legs, but just for fun beforehand I decided to try some rack pulls and see how much I could get up. I was able to lift 6 plates on each side the first time with no straps, but I wasn't able to hold it for more than 2 seconds.
I put the straps on and went for 7 plates on both sides. I got it up without much problem. I tried 8 plates on each side and i lifted and felt it about to lift off the rack when I had a shooting pain in my left heal.

i immedately took my shoe off to find a fricken thumb tack that I had stepped on. The weight caused me to compress my shoe sole enough for it to poke me a little bit in my food. OWE! lol


I knocked out some nice leg press sets (1 leg at a time isolations) with 5 plates on each side. I did 3 extra reps with my left leg each set to hopefully get it to catch up in size with my right.

lol... wow. Wearing running shoes?

I highly reccomend a flat sole type.. i have a pair of worn down puma driving shoes (speed cat model)... so comfortable and perfect for deads, squats ect... woulda felt the tack the seond you picked it up too ;)

k. So i tested my bf again this morning and calculated here are my stats:

310 lbs (this morning)
I was 17% bf (yes I've gained fat)

I find this to be VERY good in fact. It means I have been making the absolute most gains with muscle that I can.

I will even out my diet to just around maintenance levels for my current weight. I am stopping the cycle now as well. My last injection was wednesday so by my calculations, my most efficent time to start PCT will be Monday April 10th which is about 5 days before my test levels drop below natty levels.
 
I've gained a total of 40 lbs of lean mass according to my calipers over the course of almost 10 weeks.

I am also doing my research on clen use during PCT to keep muscle at a caloric deficit and plan on possibly taking a very small dose (10-20mcg/day) and starting on a CKD.

:) That's what I'm doing with Clen now... screw high doses when I get the benefits of muscle preservation which is all I want from it.

when i plug my usb cord into my digital camera my computer doesn't recognize anything new, when I plug the same cord into another device, it does recognize it. I can wiggle the cord a bit and it is recognized for a few seconds but that is it :(

I gotta see if it's covered under the warranty.

wk 1 100mg Clomid 40 mg Nolvadex ED
wk 2 50mg Clomid 40mg Nolvadex ED
wk 3-4 50mg Clomid 20mg Nolvadex ED
Ends May 7th

I'll be starting my CKD on Monday with 20mcg clen ED

CKD will go until i'm down to 10% bodyfat

Blood Test round 2 will happen around May 15-20th depending on when I can get in.
 
I feel like the biggest computer geek being infront of this moniter so long (such is my exam/end of semester life).....

Cyrex my advice for the CKD as i'm in the middle of mine is to listen to mak. lol, the guy knows his shit. But brotha keep these in mind:
1)no carbup for the first two weeks, get your body used to being in keto and you'll thank me later
2)no "slight cheating" avoid artifical sweetners at least that first week until u are deep in keto then perhaps play a bit.
3)avoid your ANPB, almonds, cottage cheese, fruit/veggies, etc that first week, again until u can hold keto a while. - last thing u want to do is take a week to get there and go in and out, your body will feel like crap if that happens...
4)stay dedicated, it sucks but it gets better, once you've established a good keto state then i'd watch the fat intake and switch to primarily good fats, get rid of the fatty beef, mayo, cream etc, IMO these are ok the first week but really have no place in any diet, a diet has to be calorie defficant and these will JACK up your cals before u realise it.
5)that fitday.com helps u track it all quite well. also the fat break down is nice.

I'll consider this, but I've done a CKD a number of times and have had quite a bit of success, so I'm fairly confident I can handle it. I jump into ketosis very quickly with no carbs (within about 30 hours the first time and about 18 or so after 1 day carb loading)

I have my own web application that I"ve developed which is much better than fitday :-) I use it.. i love it.. within a few months or so it'll be ready for everyone else to use :-)
 
oh and no HCG :-) I couldn't find any at the time and while I do have a source now that has it, my testicles have not really shrunk much if at all so I'm skipping it for now, although I will have it on hand for my test, tren, masteron cycle coming up this fall.

j/k yeah I'm actually reworking the database right now to allow for more flexibility for the future. I have a set list of features that will be in for Phase 1 release and then a list of features I will add afterwards. Right now I'm using the basic meal tracking and training tracking pieces and they are working great. this weekend I'm going to start implementing the dynamic flash graphs and charts to show progress, and stuff (they will look MUCH MUCH better than fitday.com and be more comprehensive)

I don't remember where you are with PCT right now...

Can you give an overall review of your cycle, what you perceived as your positives and negatives (if any) and what other factors contributed to your progress?
 
I started pct last Sunday. I'm on 100mg clomid ED and 40mg nolvadex ED

Positives of cycle: my strength went way up, looks like I gained near 36.5 lbs of muscle based on my most recent measurements
I've lost no strength so far. I look a CRAPLOAD better naked :-)

Negatives: none during the cycle but in the last week i've been getting more pimples, 2 big ones on my back, some smaller ones on my back maybe 5 total. and then 1 on my elbow today that hurt a lot and another one on my arm 2 days ago . . .
It may be because I have been sweating more though cause its hotter and I've been having to do lots of yardwork, not getting in the shower after sweating too fast...

anyways thats the worst of it so I can take it ;-)
