Well fat helps raise natural testosterone levels and is definitely necessary if you are going to bulk to get HUGE. If you eat a shit load of carbs to get your calories up, then basically you are eating sugar.
On 4000 calories per day to be in a 40/30/30 balance you need 133.34 grams of fat per day. 400 grams of protein and 300 grams of carbs.
Don't kid yourself into thinking that lifting weights uses all that much glycogen anyway. Anything over 300 grams of carbs and you will look like an absolute balloon.
In any case, you absolutely need to know what you are going to eat for each and every meal and the EXACT calorie breakdown for each. Plus you need to time your carbs to have more pre-workout and post-workout when your body is truly primed to use them.
Think this one out bro. Don't waste the gear because you didn't have a sound diet plan in place.
And FYI, fats are not the enemy that the "nutritional" industry has labeled them to be. Over consumption of carbs and nasty carbs are the culprit. Do some reading on healthy fats and keep your carbs limited to oat meal, black beans, fruit, veggies, etc. No bread, rice, or pasta. That is all garbage....with certain exceptions.
