its not about extreme versuse moderate gains, now when you are below 240lb it is not that hard to consume optimum number of calories to max out your gains, if you multiply your weight by 20 you end up with 4800cals/day---------not impossible to consumbe that number of calories through clean food only, now when your bodyweight approaches 300lb then the minimum cals you will need to eat is 6000/day-------good luck trying to eat that much by resorting to clean low fat foods, shit if you are Ronnie Coleman and your off-season weight is 320lb+ then the minimum caloric intake is 6400/day..........you see the tren
the point is while your body has not developed to extreme level you can eat clean and max out your gains at the same time, once you start pushing 280lb+ then it will be impossible for you to take it your cals from low fat sources only so eating pizza and burgers and ice cream will be the only way to keep gaining
