cutting questions

what do you guys recommend for carbs while cutting? I am very active between work, boxing, and training. Thus I am taking in about 175grams a day of carbs(50%protein 30% carbs 20% fat as recommended to me by Mr. X). 50 grams of it is dextrose in my pwo shake. Ive been eating a lot of brown rice, oatmeal, and chick peas. I wanna get my bodyfat down to 6% from 8.5% would I be better off eating yams or something else perhaps?
 
as far as carbs.. those are good ones.. I would pick other things to tweak to get down lower because the carbs you've picked are perfect
 
Thanks for the input bran I also eat alot of baby spinach and romaine (the only dark greens I really like). Ya I just started the diet so im not really sure how its going yet. I just wanna make sure I dont waste anymore of my time and effort getting shitty results and losing muscle!!!

good! as obiwan says, eat your greens! know how ya feel about not wasting time and energy man! keep us updated :)
