Cutting Diets Needed!!!

Hey bros, havent been around for a while so I am back and want to wish you all a late Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Now I put on some good old fat and I am not too good with making up a cutting diet so I need some help. I am 6,1 and now weight around 220lbs, 16%BF. I need some help on cutting. If you guys can post some of your diets it will be greatly and I mean greatly appreciated. I need to see what you guys eat on a daily basis and what not.

What I eat ? Anything. Tuna, shakes, Pizzas, triple cheeseburger with bacon. And I'm around 8%. SO I hope I answered your question.....
 
No you didnt. I cant eat that shit, well I have eaten it and thats why I need to cut. I want to see your guys's diets as in what you guys eat daily and what you guys eat each meal.
 
Bro, I'd be glad to help you...try a 30/50/20 diet to start

30% carbs, 50% protein, 20% fat

More info is needed on your part,,,when can you eat and how do you train?

Hell yes I do. ALways. I eat 5 times a day. No specific diet. SInce I work and I can't come back home, then McDonald's and Harvey's are my best friend. Depends on your metabolism. Mine is fast, too fast. Now how is yours ? What are you actually eating ? Might give us an idea of your problem.
 
Oh I know what my problem was, I ate like shit. I know this. Now I want to cut right up to around 10% before I do my next cycle. I can eat about 4-6 times per day and I train 5xweek. I do cardio 3xweek starting this week due to the xmas break got me. I took off the gym for a while and need to cut up. I do cardio after my weights due to I live quite far from my gym to do am cardio. I workout usually around 5pm.
 
Then assuming you have a normal metabolism, you might consider stuff like tuna, chicken, flax seed oil. That's an example. Eat less and eat clean. That's the best way. And fuck cardio..... :)

Okay...I like the cardio in the AM but realise it's not available to everyone...

Why not drop the cardio and try a more cardio oriented weight trainning session...supersets...that type of thing.

As far as food,,,keep it simple,,,oatmeal and egg whites in the morning, mid morning...tuna or chicken...very little carbs, meal 3 very little carbs....Meal 4 (pre workout, higher carbs, lower fat, fast acting protein), Meal 5 (Post workout, high carb, protein powder) Meal 6..steak and veggies...
 
That can be done. Fast acting protein? Could you give me an example of that. Also I seem to have trouble making up a diet for myself. I will post one in a few mins and let me know what u think
 
Shit!! I lost the diet I made. CRAP!! Ah well guess I will have to make another one. Can you guys please provide me with what you guys typically eat while cutting. Like meal 1- 6 egg whites, 1 glass OJ and so on. Thx
 
Here's a sample of what I usually do, sometimes I go lower carbs...

7:30 AM rise and shine

8 AM Cardio 45min working up to 1 hour eventually (treadmill)

9 AM Oatmeal / Whey
40 g of carbs/ 40 g of protein/ 4-5 g of fat

11 AM: Tuna, lemon juice, olive oil, black beans
40g of carbs, mostly fiber/ 50g of Protein/ 20g of fat

1:30 PM: 1 tablespoon of raw honey, whey shake

20g of carbs/ 30g of protein/ 2g of fat

2 PM: Train

3 PM: Powerade/ whey
50g of carbs/ 30g of protein/ 1-2 g of fat

4 PM: 2 chicken breast, apple
20g of carbs/ 50g of protein/ 4-5 g of fat

6:30 PM: Steak or/and shrimp/ veggies
10g of carbs/ 70g of protein/ 15g of fat

8:30PM: Cottage chesse
15g of carbs/ 30g of protein/ 2g


Works out to about:

200g of carbs/300g of protein/ 55-60 g of fat

On non training days: no post workout shake replace with MRP:

160g of carbs/300g of protein/55-60g of fat

No shit huh!! 9-5 sucks but it pays the bills and all my habits :p

The great thing about my job though is that I can take breaks whenever I want and take as long as I want on lunch so it isnt all that bad.

I like BigAndys recommendation for a diet but would like to see what you other bros do and eat.
 
My best diet change has been to grill a ton of boneless / skinless chicken breasts at home and bring in 2 or 3 in for lunch. Use Redhot sauce or something similar to give them some taste. That and a big homemade salad with no dressing. Use almond slivers or mandarin oranges to give it some taste. Keeps me away from fast food.
Also, keep protein bars handy and time your meals so that you eat even if you aren’t hungry. You can keep a few shaker bottles with protein powder in them so all you have to do is add water and shake to save money on the bars.

That and drink a ton of water. I find it hard to drink ½ as much as I should in the winter if I don’t force myself.

Might want to invest in some Hydroxycut or some of that type of ECA stack shit,

i am opposed to it, but it does work, i saw this fat kid lose about 15lbs in a month while eating clean and regular excercise of course, it does help jumpstart and gives u some energy.......manny78 i agree with you, fuck cardio
 
All I really want is too lose about 15lbs of fat by the end of february. I know this is alot but I hope this is realistic. I know how to bulk with my diet, always gained really good weight while bulking and would only loose about 5 lbs max when off. But as for cutting, I never had to cut before so now its like a new game for me.

I should try a hydroxycut or an ECA stack huh? Do you guys know what the rule of thumb is for calories when bulking, maintaining and cutting?
 
BK for breakfast, usually a sausage egg and cheese combo with coffee.

Big lunch...anything I want...pig out.

Train at 7:00 pm...

no dinner, just 6 or 7 beers, then to bed.

I got ripped on this!
 
that would be awesome bro.

Also for stacks, ECA, NYC, etc.... I have done a lot of research on these on past posts and everyone seems to have different opinions on each of the stacks or so called fat burners out there now adays. So I have to ask again, which ones would you guys prefer after diet is down right.
 
Hmmm...You ate crap and gained fat. Maybe if you didn't eat crap and burned more calories than you took in, you'll lose it.

Just a wild guess.















. Or...you can keep asking everyone to hold your hand. That's good too.

Just looking for advice from bros thats all. Trying to see how they cut themselves up and what not due to I never really cut up before. Its called trying to educate myself so I can help myself out and others when the time comes.

thanks bbforlife, what you guys think about CKD diets. I have read alot about them and wouldnt mind trying it. I know their was alot of hype about it like 3-4 months ago and people were raving about it but now that it has calmed down, what are your thoughts?

I tried a similar approach, carb rotation...it worked well as far as shedding bodyfat, BUT

My workouts suffered tremendously, so I lost muscle

It made me feel horrible 24/7, crazy mood swings

Not worth it in my book unless you are on a Large dose of AS and doing a contest
 
ahh ic. Not too good huh? Well thats not good to hear. You guys believe a 50/30/20 split is ideal for fat loss am I not correct?
 
I don't work 9 to 5, I run my own small business and I make a good living. I use to work as a personnal trainer, and I never had any time.

What exactly do you do? Running even a small business can be a lot of work! I am working on starting up my own business but I may have to get into your line of work!

I've got some money invested in a few businesses, a transport business, a supplement store and a cafe all across Canada, Toronto, Montreal...I don't want to get into details so I don't give to much info out over the net
 
Well, I respect the quest for knowledge. All I'm trying to say, in my typical flipant way, is that you need to use some common sense. You know how you got fat. You admitted you ate too much crap. That's the first step. Un-do the bad. But all too often I see people going right trying to find the magical cutting diet. Any diet will work as long as you burn more caloies than you take in. But I know that's too simple for most people. They have to follow the insulinoresistant, cyclo pepdide timed razzle dazzle ketoglucogeneketic T dawg diet.

Eat less and lift more. Then get back to us.

Your a very blunt person Nelson and I admire that. I am not looking for a magical diet, just some guidelines to go by. I have done alot of research now and found that I may give BFL a try with my GF. I like the fact that its a lifestyle, which BB is so it goes together. This way I can train myself and educate myself to eat well all through my life. What you guys?
 
just cut back your carbs, keep your protein high, and eat less calories, you'll lose and get more muscular fast. No matter what
eating regimen you go on, if you are taking in more calories than
you are burning, you will look the same or worse. Eat less
