Cutting cycles worth it?

Hey guys

I'm gonna start cutting now real soon, and thought I might get some additional gains if I run a cycle while I cut. Just got off my last cycle a month ago and thought of running something in march and for 12 weeks. Is it worth it? Won't you lose all gains during pct anyway on a cut?

I was thinking something like Test and Tbol.

Age ,Training history will help alot, you havn't been off long enough to start another cycle.
 
You will not loose all your gains providing you keep training intensity & diet up after you come off,Providing you do proper PCT.

Yes blood work is a must so that you know what normal is once you come off again. Have you ever thought of trying tren ace or anavar to go with the prop?
 
So I got some bloodwork done, and doctor said it seemed fine after 5 weeks of PCT. I'm gonna get you the numbers soon. Would it be okay to do a cutting cycle in about a month? Would it help my gains?
 
running a loe dose of aas while cutting is a good idea. it will help preserve muscle mass. 250-300mg test will do that. at the end of the cut something tol harden you up would also be helpful. so test and var or test and winny would be good with the var or winny used only in the last 4 weaks.

1-12 Test Enth. 750 mg/wk
5-12 Tbol 50 mg/day
1-12 Proviron 50 mg/day
14-16 Clomid 25 mg/day
14-19 Nolvadex 20 mg/day

that cycle is way to much just to cut.
 
Agree with Joe-too much Personally i would sub the Tbol for Anavar

Lets say 300 mg of Test/wk for 12 weeks then and tbol 50 mg/day for 5 weeks?

Why var? It's more expensive, and I heard it makes you kinda lethargic. Tbol gives more gains, allthough it probably won't make me as dry...
 
the idea in a cut is to look good with minimal muscle loss.
 
I've always been of the opinion that you should't need a dedicated cutting cycle unless you're training for a show. If you're really overweight you probably don't have enough muscle to worry about while dieting. Having said that there is a way to have your cake and eat it too. Do a combination gain/cut cycle like so:

Week 1-4 Bulk
Week 5 Cut
Week 6-8 Bulk
Week 9-10 Cut
Week 11-12 Bulk
Week 13-15 Cut

You can adjust things as needed but this way you get rid of the excess fat before your bulk cycle is over. You can do PCT, take time off then go right back into another bulk/cut. You never have to deal with more than 3 weeks of strict dieting.
 
I have a decent amout of muscle, I just want to keep most of it towards the summer and possibly gain some. No contest for me.
 
Test/Tren/Mast is a great cutter, and here's why i think so;

The test will keep your libido up, and keep you feeling great. The tren will give you insane strength that you will need while on a calorie restricted diet. The masteron will allow you to keep adding salt and eating foods high in sodium and it will still keep you dry.
 
Test is fine, don't like tren and the sides, might do mast.

But why is it so important staying dry? It's not like I won't come off the cycle.

Its not important staying dry but have you seen a bodybuilder when hes holding water and when hes not? looks alot different and alot more vascular when hes dry.
 
Let me put it this way:

Besides keeping more muscle during the cut, does cycling during a cut have any big benefits when you come off?

I don't plan on staying on just to look dry for a certain period of time.

When you go on a cycle to cut, the only purpose of taking the compounds is strictly to keep muscle on your body while in a reduced calorie/carb diet, THATS IT. YOU CAN NOT GAIN MUSCLE ON A CUT, SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, NO THERE ARE NO BENEFITS BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GAIN ANYTHING FROM THE CYCLE.

People have to start realizing steroids arent needed for cutting. Steroids increase muscle mass. If you cant get cut without steroids using diet and cardio, you have no business using steroids to get cut, period.
