Customs in Mexico Please help?????

I am getting ready to fly to Cancun for a nine day vacation. I am also going shopping while I am there. Anybody ever done this? I am wondering, if I buy some glass amps or vials, how can I get them through customs? Anybody?

Unless you want to go to prison, don't try to get into the business of drug smuggling. A much safer way is to buy the product while in Mexico, break it up into small packages, and mail it to yourself using the good old U.S. Postal Service.

Well if hes going to use the good old US post hell have to smuggle it into the US. Besides that its not a business of drug smuggling if he has personal quantities. And you won't go to prison - Mexico prison b/c it aint a crime to buy it in mexico, and US prison b/c unless you bringing back a large amount (over$500 or so) all youll get is a fine of $500 or equal to the amount of gear and a little encouragment to not try again or it will be $5k next time, and so one. The first time it wont even go on your Arrest record. Im not saying its easy - if you do get caught its a pain in the ass and there is a chance they will decide to fuck you, but the above mentioned tecnique of mailing from mexico WONT work 99.5% of the time.

I read somewhere that this guy used to take two tubes of toothpaste with him.

He'd empty one tube out, cut the hole to fit the amps through it, then fill it back up the rest of the way with toothpaste and bring the amps back in that....I'm not saying it would work but it's better than storing them in Uranus.
