i'm heading down ther in about 2 weeks, i was wondering if anyone knew their procedures down there. i want to bring down e, and i ve been told that there are no dogs sniffing for drugs in the room where you claim your luggage and what not...also, what would be the best method on gettin gear back home after i get it down there, like mailing procedures, ive heard carbon paper blocks x-rays, or taping it to my body..i'm really not sure about this never tried it before and havent spoke to anyone with good enough advice on the subjects...anyone with insight would be a great help to me...thanks in advance..DOOM

I would not bring any E with me to Brazil. If you get caught with it youll be in one of their jails for a long time.

Scott825 is right. It isn't worth the risk of taking e with you to Brazil. If you get caught you are fucked. As for getting gear back to the states, I would mail it from Brazil using regular mail. Don't use UPS, FedEx etc. If you get caught in the airport with gear you are in a shitload of trouble. If your gear gets seized through the mail, as long as it is only a "personal amount" you will only get a customs letter.

Just so that you understand this: Brazil is a tough country and their jails are no exception. It won't be like in the US. Their legal system is probably very antiquated and not used to working with the embassy.

If you try something dumb like this leave a letter with a friend detailing where you are going and planning to be. Your family may stand a better chance of finding you quickly if they know which jails you are rotting in and getting the shit kicked out of you.

didnt say i was gonna bring it down, i was thinking about bringing it down, but since im getting negative feedback, i think ill skip it...oh and madcow, thanks for the bright outlook of me being sodomized in some brazilian rathole jail

I don't think I mentioned soddomy, but many Americans do not understand how bad foreign jails are and how totally impossible it may be for anyone to find you or for you to let someone know where you are.

believe me bro, i know the dangers of goin down there, the information that was givin to was from a friend who went down ther several times and thses were the things observed by him....im not basing my trip on what one person tell me thats why im looking for different view and opinions of those who know or have been down there....but its cool bro, i know ur just giving me the heads up, and believe me i dont feel like spending my vacation in a dungeon

Brazil is not a third world country people. It is a very nice place, many parts of it are better than the states. It is not like central america or anything if that is what you think.

Horny: Do you understand what the term "third world" means or from which it is derived? By definition, Brazil very much indeed is a "third world" country; ALL of latin american countries are "third world." And while there are metropolitan areas, there is still corruption and inherent dangers depending on where you go. Speak to a brazilian immigrant living in the US, or live there for a few years and youll see what I mean.

whatever your definition of "third world " is, and I don't beleive you are 100 percenrt correct, all I meant is that there is a high standard of living in brazil. THere is more corrrupton there, this is true, but it is not like columbia or many other south american/central american countries. HAve you lived there?

E is not a steroid anyway, it's an illegal drug. And boy, if you think they don't like steroids, you just wait until they catch you trying to smuggle xtc in or out of the country.

What i'm trying to say is that it's not best to try and bring it in. Yes it may be a lot of fun, no you probably won't get caught (i've smuggled numerous 'things' before), but the possbility is still there.

Hey brows, have some respect. this is what makes most southamericans most iritated about USA citizens. They simply think that BRAZIL and Argentina are somewhat like Guatemala or El Salvador. It's totally diferent, we don't like in trees, and our capital is NOT Buenos Aires! what i'm trying to say is brasil kicks ass! And yes, we are a 3rd world country ( DEVELOPING ONE ! ). But we totally RULE south america. Any argentinians here ? Wanna start a fight?!?1 huahuahuahuhua, just sit back and relax!:D

International airports that i know of down here don't have dogs sniffing for stuff, but yes there is all that X-Ray stuff and ect.. be carefull.

thanks for the insight guys, anabolix, if you could elaborate more on what to expect down there, it would be most appreciated, im getting mixed reviews of what to expect while im down there, and i just wanna get crazy, i had no problem getting shit in out of mexico, but im going a lil futher south this time...all in all i just wanna have a good vacation E or no E:D

DURATESTON is not an OTC drug here. They will sell it to you anytime anywhere, but is not an OTC. GANABOL ( EQUIFORT ) also. All you need to do is walk into a vet store ( there aren't many ! ) and ask for it.

I really can't help you much about the airport stuff, i only left braSil 3-4 times, and really don't remeber how the airport shit works. But don't expect to be a shitty airport and crap, especially if you're landing in SÃO PAULO or RIO DE JANEIRO. As you walk by, they select people to look over the bags. Sometimes they don't, sometimes they do look inside your bags, open it and stuff. The X-RAY thing only happens on the airport your leaving right? The bags don't go through x-rays when the reach their destinations i guess.

Thankx

Hey LSDOOM,

When I went to Rio, they make you go through a metal detector looking piece of equipment with a big red button on it. You have to hit the red button as you pass, if the light goes green, it's cool, if it goes red, search. That's how they decide who and who not to search. From what I could see you got a 50% chance of having your bags looked through, not great chances huh? When you see the customs officers you will realize they're not guys you want to fuck with. By the way, this was last year. Good luck, you'll need it!

Good point, but do u see the way they look through the bags, some of these guys could overlook 2 kilos of coke. LMAO, but I still wouldn't chance it.

but the ones "overlooking" 2 k's of coke are probably getting a kickback. I would not want to wind up in a foriegn jail, getting ready to be made an example.
