Watching that show Airline...how embarrasing must it be to have them tell you that you're too fat to sit in their seats and you have to purchase two if you want to fly. This fat girl just got told that and started crying.

You think that would be a massive humiliating motivator to start exercising and not eating like crap all the time.

once u hit 250 - everyone should be forced to go to fat camp. This should be law - otherwise we'll be paying for their gastric when they're bedridden in 5 years.

Yeah, but doing anything for someone else never works. You can't quit smoking, quit drinking, quit drugs, etc., etc., etc., for someone else. Morbid obesity is no different.

People who are hugely fat on the outside have other huge issues, whether they're sad, addicted to food, abuse survivors, whatever. I can't imagine that anybody WANTS to be so fat they are virtually immobilized and don't fit into the world ... but they can't lose the weight just BECAUSE of that, and even if they do it never lasts.

Fat people need professional help. Few seek it until they're already beyond fat.

The key is to start it BEFORE you get to that stage. The "burgers and fries" stage the precedes obesity.

Hey, I'm not spending my summer playing softball with fat chicks. Society needs to stop marginalizing fat people and start treating them with respect, you think it's easy bulking up to 400lbs?
