Ok! Everytime i do curls with a straight bar or even a curling bar my forearms feel like they are fixing throbe through my arm? and they are so sore afterwards anyone else have this problem

Sounds like your biceps are stronger than your forearms. I used to have that problem in the beginning, but it just has balanced itself out on its own.

I get a pain in mine too, if i hold my hand palm upward it runs from in line with my little finger to my elbow from about half way up.

its like shin splints for your forearms. it takes time for it to go away, you gotta stretch em also. you might want to switch to the ez curl bar for a while or do hammer curls.

Stop curling!

No really, do stuff that requires compound movement instead of causing such trama to your forearms.

The exact same thing used to happen to me all the time. It was bad form.
Once I started keeping my wrist perfectly straight throughout the entire movement the problem disappeared and hasn't returned. Do not curl your wrist in towards your body at the end of the curl, keep them locked from start to finish.

Exaclty man! thats what it feels like!

I recently switched from doing DB curls to straight bar and I get the same thing -- mostly on the heavy sets. In the past, the aching just goes away with time and my forearms are already feeling better.

Well, forearms are your secondary muscles when doing curls. Mine get killed every time I curl. This is the reason why I hate doing biceps. Its my worst exercise, because I seem to not bend all the way. I mean I can curl it, but I feel like I am also putting too much strain on my forearms, but I figured its only natural.. I never trained forearms, I always thought that doing curls, or pullups, or anything else that subjected the forearms under alot of stress was enough.. am I wrong?
