Crizal Lenses -- Anyone Have any Experience?

Title says it all. Hubby needs to get new glasses (he can't wear contacts and LASIX is not an option). So anybody have experience with Crizals? They sound too good to be true, which automatically makes me suspicious of them.

I thought it was just a coating they put on the lense? My son got this with his new glasses
