Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I have a listing under my "adverse summary" part of my credit report. However when I look under "subscriber information" it is listed, but there is no phone number for the credit grantor. It is some kind of medical bill from a while back (I think I needed stitches a while back). How do I get the phone number to take care of this?

medical collections are very very easy to remove. i'm willing to bet that'll disappear if you dispute it. they should be able to give you the information in the response to the dispute letter if it's not removed.

Ive disputed items and it will come off. Go to Equifax and pay $33.95 for the 3 in one credit report which enables you to dispute all three bureaus online and multiple times. It takes 30 days for the item to be either verified or deleted from your file.. Once you receive your report back immediately dispute it again.. Keep doing this until the items come off.. The creditor has 30 days to respond to a dispute, if they do not the item is deleted from your file. good lucksubluxfxr said:

umm.. have to almost agree with this one.. do it in writing, not via their website.. it delays it and they must remove if not completed in 30 days.. thus, do it July, oct/nov and dec are the best months as everyone is on vacation..
I have another one that i like to use even better than this is a letter that challenges the credit company itself, with a request for them to prove with the original document that you owe them money.. or rather the original signed document that you signed saying you agree to the terms..
If you keep making many request to the credit reporting companies you can be classified as a Nuisance claimant and they will not even be required to check the accuracy, you will then have to pay an attorney to sue each and every credit provider..
