Creatine... Good Idea?

The cramping is from insufficient water intake. You have to CHUG CHUG CHUG on that stuff, or you'll spend most of your time doubled over.

Creatine Loading is a marketing scam. No logic to it at all.

Cool, do you have a resource on the "one cycle" thing? I'd be interested in reading it if you do. We were talking about that on the women's board the other day. :)

Well I just heard people discussing thi on a forum a while back. Some guys came to an agreement from their own experiences that this was the case

I'll see if I can dig up some research

I don't think its a one cycle thing. Its simply an adaptation problem. We adapt very efficiently to large doses of creatine. And, unfortunately it takes a long time for our bodies to forget about it. But, they do forget about it. Thats why I said I only use it 2-3 times a year.

I noticed that my first 8 weeks on creatine was really great. I stopped for a month and did it again. I continued this process and never got the same results. Then, I stayed off creatine for 6 months and got back on with the same positive results from the very first time.

Its kinda like my mother in law. Its good to have around, but only a few times a year. Maybe less

And spatts is right(gee) about the water intake. During certain military training, you're allowed to supplement things, but no creatine for this very reason.
