Creatine and water retention

I know that you gain some water weight while on creatine.I can see it around the waist and chest. Is there any way to get rid of this.I have heard dandilion root will help by making you urinate. Will this accelerate Dehydration?

Really pretty much all of your gains from creatine is water weight, its just kinda the territory of taking it...possibly try ginger root to help out with the water retention, although it might make u sweat a lot....

Ginger root is really much of a diuretic. Ginger root is more to help with protein digestion.

If you sticking with supplements which I highly recommend for shedding water try something like Cytodyne's Taraxatone, I've found some pretty good results with it. Also dandelion extract is supposedly a good natural diuretic.

The whole point of creatine is the water retention. You want to hold as much as possible. the water doesn't just go to your waist. It fills the inner and outer layers of your muscle cells causing them to swell. This is what gives your faster recovery and the ability to train harder and longer getting the most from your muscles. If you want creatine in your regimen, don't try to drop the water. you'd be defeating the purpose.
