I have had no problem cutting up while on creatine. You may put on some water weight.I don't but I just have the tendency not to get that bloated no matter what I take.Just keep your diet clean your cardio up and you'll be able to cut fat.

Thanks. Have some Karma :)

I'd take it, it will help you keep muscle. I don't get bloat from creatine, but your diet will effect bloating the most.

Creatine is great IMHO for dieting because it keeps a sufficient amount of water in the muscles to avoid that "flat" look while dieting; especially while low carbing.

Now where's my Karma:)

I use the supplement direct creatine. Best prices around and you can add all the other stuff like dextrose if you like.

Anywhere else seems like a MAJOR waste of hard earned cash just for creatine.

CRE-X12

CRE-X12 is pretty wicked too...I've noticed good gains in all lifting exercises since I've been on it.

if you don't mind any potential bloat creatine can be valuable while cutting down. It should help you maintain your strength and hydrate your muscles both of which should help you maintain muscle. It should in no way hinder fat loss.

It would seem that creatine use would inevitably lower your body fat % since your workouts should improve = better muscle gains. Just don't reducce your calories below BMR or go crazy with cardio. Even creatine has its limits since its not anabolic.
