Couple Questions About Tridiea.com ...

I am not asking this in a specifically negative way, only a curious one.

First, who is this amaf/uou/m0f0 ? Obviously he is not some teenage kid yes? Then who is he? A board member under another name???

Second, while I feel that the international source-posting is just a plain bad idea, what is up with this private forum for domestic sources to post? Who gets to enter that forum, and doesn't anyone think that it would be relatively easy for a fed to hack into this forum and get a bunch of addys from domestic guys??

Again, I'm not flaming tridiea, but it just seems odd to me...

I was thinking the exact same thing, but other than that it does seem like a good board. I don't see domestic source posting on an open forum good under any circumstances, especially when it's not that hard to get the "sources" just by sticking aorund, learning some shit and writing a few emails, it's not hard and it's a lot safer. Anyway just my opinion.

the feds can read your mail alot quicker then that forum. you really think if they wanted to they could get all the sources names from all of you doing source checks? crack a mods email, and they will get new sources everyday.

that site, and rippedmass are both good new boards, and i am sure there will be more because these sites keep turning into pay sites.
 
Well I think it would be a lot harder to crack a hushmail and/or PGP encryption than to hack into a private forum...
 
The other thing is, with people bitching about not finding sources fast enough...well my opinion about that is, if you haven't been here long enough to find your first source, then you haven't been here long enough to research properly for your cycle either...
 
The feds are developing a program to hack PGP-I posted a thread a few days ago about this and linked an article about it and how it works. Do a search for "keep your PGP safe"

first off, the pgp mails only work
zip to zip
hush to hush
etc.

and out of curiousity, i forwarded mail i had from a hushmail account to a different account, and it was readable, and if they crack your email password, they could read it jut like you can. the only pgp that is good is the downloaded and used by your own C drive that is any good IMO. these encrypted mails are crap compared to the real deal. if you had my email pass, you could read any message. not exactly hard for the feds to crack an email account. there is no way to stay 100% safe, other then being natural
 
it has been said before and i will say it again, be as carefull as you can be, be smart, but if someone wants information bad enough they can get it, the only "secure" computer is the one still in the cardboard box.....
 
There is not an encrypted service that the feds are not watching and cannot read at will. I've heard from a few friends that work within the federal gov't, that more often than not aol is safer than the encrypted web servers. It makes sense to me if you really think about. Other than heresay, however I've nothing to back up the above statement, but i believe it.:D

You know who he is, He is the guy who tried to open a vial...but regardless of how much crazy stuff he posted over here, Triedia is a great board and He can take most of the credit for that.
 
Frackal, you feel the pulse pretty well in my view, always have.

I've made my feelings about source postings rather clear, international or domestic, on such boards as Triedia. (Where the hell did that name come from? Guess I need to search the Internet or check the dictionary.)

First amaf was banned from ELite, same for some mods like Monstars and winnyFan. Then source posting is a very bad idea. Ask George Spellwin :) Then their private forum is so easy to hack...believe me. BTW they denied me the access to their private board, who cares :rolleyes:
 
I was banned but who give a fuck cuz i have already been back since they did. Fuck em. Ill still have my input heard and I will take advice. Manny and I cuased lotsa shit over cuz of the IP mess but I dont regret it.

We gave you a chance synergy, and you still pissed us off.. Let me explain something to those who think your encrypted email is safe... it's not, the fbi can figure out anything you throw at them. alot of the people believe these encrypted services can save your ass, well, your wrong, they won't..
 
Also, the situation with IP was between Synergy and his cracked tabs.. a source said he would replace it, if syn would just shut his mouth about it, but he didn't, and he was temp. banned for a week, but since he got a new handle, i'm not going to release his old one. Syn, your good when your talking bad about our site, eh..
 
stfu_mOFO I won't involve my self with the politics of your board, because I know to little about them. But I hear you when you say that the FBI has the abilty to read any encrypted mail at will. In my opinion no e-mail is safe from evesdroppers fed and otherwise.:D
 
The source now claims that IP would be mad if he would send me the tabs. Personally if a guy says something then doesnt have tha balls to follow thru then you know what, I dont want to associate myself with some people. Mofo I was going to keep quiet ESPECIALLY when I thought I was going to get 50 Winny Tabs but now he backtracks? Forget it I dont want to deal with spineless punks. Thats just low.
