Couple of Questions About Oral Steroids

I asked questions about steroids, not about my diet and my unique body that I've lived in all my life. If questions about steroids were answered, you bet I will listen to their steroid advice and absorb it all like a sponge without question. However, that isn't the case here.

If Dylan and Rick's theory is correct (i.e., it's all about the food and calories), then it must logically follow that if you feed a very skinny person a BOATLOAD amount of food, then given sufficient time, he will become a Guiness World Record holder for the heaviest person. Sorry, but I believe it's mostly genetics and everyone has an upper limit for the amount of weight they can hold. I know I've reached very damn close to my upper natural limit. If I wasn't doing weight training or gymnastics, I would be weighing around 100 lbs now. I used to be a stick figure when I was young.

I never said that they were wrong. I know that they are RIGHT that it's all about the diet, because for an overwhelming majority of people, it does apply. Like I've stated before, I've had a couple of friends and even a skinny roommate eat a bulking diet and their weight spike up in front of my eyes. I stated that we could BOTH be right.

I believe I've been very respectful to everyone in this thread, so I don't know what I would actually be apologizing for? I think apologizing to someone for having a civilized and mutually respectful disagreement is like apologizing for telling someone the truth.

Why are you mad bro?

EDIT: Dylan, let's assume for a second that I am underweight and can naturally put on further weight, how many lbs do you think I should be before I start using steroids? Thanks

at the MINIMUM at your height, i would get up to at least 170-175 before you even consider running anything... you could probably get up to 180 naturally at your height but you need to get up to at least this range... if your a gymnast then that is whats making it more difficult to put on weight... im telling you, try big blast and n2bulk and up your calories and you will get there...

Dude you obviously didnt come here to learn, you came here to have someone tell you what you want to hear. All these guys have told you what your doing wrong. And if you cant gain on food you will lose everything you gain on juice plain and simple. Its your life, and if you want to learn the hard way so be it. Take every fucking steroid you can get,and hope for the best. The outcome wont be great, but sometimes we need to learn the hard way. Do what you want, but let me be the first to say I told you so.

i somehow missed this but this statement right here shows your fucking ignorance... that statement you made is so fucking stupid that I can't believe it... if you can't understand that what we are saying is that if you eat the proper amount of calories then there are certain areas you can get to naturally... you are doing things in the wrong way ... you have no fucking clue and this statement you made was an insult directed AT TWO MODS... not smart at all...

First off, I believe I owe everyone here an apology. It turns out that it may indeed in fact be my diet after all.

I spoke with one of my very knowledgeable friend today and we went over my diet, and when I told him I consume about a gallon of soy milk a day through drinking and making smoothies with it, he told me he heard that soy milk increases your estrogen level and has a catabolic effect on your system.

I did some research on it and it turns out that there's a lot of strong supportive evidence, although not conclusive, to suggest that soy milk does suppress testosterone level, elevate estrogen level, and has a catabolic effect on muscle :(

From my personal experience, I have a strong hunch that it is indeed the case. I used to drink cow milk and I get mild acne, and when i switched to soy milk, I rarely get acne, which does make sense cause there's a direct correlation between the two. In addition, I remember I used to gain pounds of muscle very fast and then around the time frame I switched to soy milk, my gains came almost to a screeching halt. Oh my goodness, it all fits together so well. I never knew that the source of protein makes a huge difference :(

AGAIN, I'd like to extend my apologize to everyone here. I will remove soy milk effectively from my diet and replace it with cow milk (and hell I can handle the acne), and update you guys on my progress. I hope you all accept my sincere apology and for understanding my frustration with being told I'm not getting enough nutrients when I got my diet ran over by a couple of nutritionists and people at other forum and they all saw no problem with it. :(

Here are two links with more info on soy milk and elavated estrogen and stuff:

Does anyone have any experience with soy milk or currently drinking significant amount?

I dont think your soy milk is stopping you from growing lol..... If you posted your diet up on other forums why dont you post it up in this thread here..... Copy paste easy.

Just go take the anavar! Or Tbol or Primo it don't matter they so weak it won't make any difference anyway. Iv heard if you put them up ur arse like a suppository it works better.

lol.... dude estrogen makes you gain weight... why dont you do some research on estrogen while youre there too?
if youre worried about drinking cows milk again, try
-a2 milk (most problems people have with dairy they are fine with a2)
-lactose free milk
-almond milk

keep playing with your diet and get things right man, i know you can do it. and realise sometimes you have to put on a little bit of fat to gain a good amount of muscle but as long as you dont let it get out of hand its nothing a 6 week cut cant deal with. then youll be slightly heavier but stronger. gymnasts have no lower body mass, yes? with good legs you might weigh another 15-20lbs... dont know if anyones considered this yet. you really should have been more clear in your original post about your goals and the context of them. 160 pounds is light, 160 pound gymnast probably has a very good upper body

perhaps you could link some pictures of yourself, thats if anyone still wants to help you

dylangemelli, I really appreciate your concern for my well-being. However, I believe that my "underweight" has very little to do with my diet. I'm an ectomorph so I'm naturally a skinny person. I eat about 250g of proteins a day, 300g of carbs, and drink a lot of olive oil and I always flunctuate between 155-160 lbs for like 6 months now :( I know a lot of my friends hate me cause they are trying so hard to lose weight and I'm struggling to gain lol.

I know those steroids I listed are not considered as bulking steroids, but I have no doubt they will increase mass, although not significantly. I already have all 3 of those in my possession, and with all due respect, I've already think long and hard about this for many months now, and got my mind made up about whether or not to use it, which is not something which I take lightly. I just thought I can just ask for advice given my cirumcumstances. Thanks.

I can assure you that you will not gain much. And whatever you gain or see improvements on you will lose after a few weeks off cycle. Do you log your food??? I heard you put that you consume maple syrup and olive oil like its food? Why? Like you said, you already have those oral on hand and you are going to run it regardless. Frankly I don't know why you posted. Good luck man! Let me know how your little balls turn out.

Speaking from experience I can say that you're not eating nearly what you think you are.
Get a calorie counting app on your phone, enter everything you eat throughout the day. Don't rely on remembering at the end of the day enter it as you eat it. Be honest with yourself and enter only what you chew and swallow. I promise that if you eat only 3000 cal a day (verified thru that app) you will gain weight.

I use myfitnesspal. Its available for both apple and android platforms.

Thanks bro! There is indeed a lot of information out there that suggests estrogen makes you gain weight. But to be fair, there are also just as many doctors who claims that estrogen actually prevent weight gain. For example, quoting from a website:

Does estrogen prevent weight gain?
Everywhere you turn, there are doctors insisting that estrogen prevents weight gain. The primary source for this opinion is the PEPI (Postmenopausal Estrogen/Progestin Intervention) study. This is a randomized, placebo-controlled study of 788 women across three years, so it's the gold standard for science. In this study, women on the placebo gained more weight than the women on HRT. The placebo group (taking no HRT) gained an average of 4.6 pounds, women on CEE alone gained 1.5 pounds, women on CEE and MPA or CEE and real progesterone gained 2.9 pounds (both of these were taken in a cycle across the month), and women who were on CEE/MPA every day gained 2.0 pounds. So estrogen actually slowed down the arrival of the menopausal Buddha belly, as did a steady balance between the hormones. Other studies support this sort of finding too.

It also seems like all those studies have been done exclusively on women, not men. I will replace soy milk with one of the above milk you suggested and give it at least one month to see if I gain any weight naturally. I will update this thread about a week from now to update whether my weight gain is a success/fail. Yes, most gymnastics have upper bodies that are much more developed than lower body. However, I do a lot of squatting at the gym 3x a week cause I want a balanced physique. Yes you are right that I should have been a lot clearer in my original post about my goals and the context. Thanks again bro!
