Here we go boys and girls. The trilogy of a fued that has been brewing since they were kids. Tarver being a hometown favorite for most around here in Orlando but my loyalty is still with Jones. I'm not sure whether it is a good idea to fight Tarver as your first fight back but I guess we'll see if there is any ring rust for the old man. I wish I had known earlier that the fight was being held in Tampa as I would have somehow found a way to be there (sure there are some tickets left way up in the nosebleed section).

I'm watching this PPV tonite.
I would like Jones to beat Tarvers ass but i doubt it will happen.I hope he proves me wrong.
 
I guess I don't even care. Jones greatness has been forever tarnished. BOth of them would get their asses kicked in a UFC fight.

if you have brighthouse, go to channel 376 I think and following the on screen instructions. I'm not sure about the satellite company channels though
 
Roy Jones used to be an amazing fighter. His hand speed was unmatched.

Are those numbers right?? Roy Jones has 13" arms and a 28" waist?? How is Tarver the same weight as Roy, but has is 3" taller and has bigger measurments for every bodypart??

That's what I keep wondering. During the prefight weigh-in, jones was at 173lbs but that only 2lbs which still doesn't add up

I bought it from a shady mofo in my town.....lol

It only works with Comcast cable. Do you have Comcast?

$200 bucks get you the PPV that has all the UFC and boxing fights,Three Hbo's,Showtime......ect ect

do you have to get a new card after they send signals out to destroy those types of cards? The main reason I haven't looked into it is because they do it quite frequently and unless you are really into the underground scene and know when they send the signals out, you're replacing the card every month or so

I don't have a card.Its just a programmed cable box.I've had it for four years now and the only channel i lost was The Playboy channel.

Damn that's awesome. I actually saw a commercial for comcast but I don't think they are in Florida yet. Brighthouse/time warner is the only cable network and it's all digital so hacking hasn't been perfected with the digital boxes

Street fight they get owned by UFC trained fighters. Yet these boxers get paid millions because the public is under the deceit that they are superheroes.

Come on man that's apples and oranges. They are warriors in their respected field. If you take any star from one sport and put him in another sport, they are usually not as good with the exception of Deon Sanders and Bo Jackson. If a UFC fighter had to strictly box, he'd get destroyed. Same if a boxer went into the octagon. Both have their respective warriors

You have a valid point. It's just that the general ignorant public actually buys into that baddest man on the planet bullshit. Boxers are extremely limited in their overall fighting capabilities. Not disputing that they are the best in their field. Although Jones doesn't impress me much anymore. THe mystique is gone.
 
I can't even call this fight. If my arm was twisted, I would say Tarver, because of Roy's Glenn Johnson fight. But I'm not putting money on it.
