Could use a few opinions on lab results while on an AAS Cycle

Guys,

I have a few questions relative to a recent blood test recently taken. I am seeing my Dr. about the results so I am not asking anyone to play Dr, but many Dr's. not familiar with AAS usage don't listen much less understand. I figure many on the forums could give some first hand experience.

Age 47 and been using Test at 200 mg weekly for HRT since early summer and then added Deca about 15 weeks ago

AAS usage:

400 mg Week of Test for 14 weeks
400 mg Week of Deca for 14 weeks

I went to see my Dr on the last day of my injection to have an umbilical hernia checked out, however my BP was like 140/90 and I am usually very normal. My resting Heart Rate was about 86 and I used to be around 60. Given this he wanted to do a Blood Test since it was out of the ordinary. I didn't even think to tell him about the Deca, but did tell him about the Test since he is not my HRT Dr.

Nonetheless, it came back with the following elevations that concern as my HRT Dr had ran a more detailed panel before the Deca and all was normal (100 days ago):

Creatine was 1.8 most certainly due to the Deca Range .3 - 1.5
eGFR (Kidney Filtration Rate) 48 or L as normal is <60
AST was 85 Normal range is 10-40
ALT was 94 Normal range is 9-60

Thyroid was 3.9 where normal starts at 4.0

Again this was the day of the last injection. Can anyone let me know if these numbers appear as typical side effect results for a Deca cycle of 400 mg weekly.

I am done with the Deca now and am hoping that the numbers will return to normal after 4 weeks or so.

Can anyone share there personal circumstances if they were tested in the middle of a cycle or there knowledgeable opinion?

I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

What do you mean Thyroid?
Was that Ft3 or Ft4? or just TSH?
Did you get reverse T3 checked aswell?

Elevated liver enzymes should come down in time, Milk thistle is a good help along with Abstaining from alcohol.
Did you get TSH/LSH serum/Free Testosterone Checked aswell as prolactin?
Also I like to check Adrenal function via 4x daily saliva stress profile to make sure adrenals are all good and monitor Cortisol.
Always good to check Lipids aswell!
Hope this helps

Thank Man. Thyroid was T4 and I'm sure down a tad from the Deca. Test total was 1657, but I had just injected too. Didn't get the TSH/LSH this time, but my HRT Dr. who I am seeing soon does that. Lipids were good or inline from last test, however I use Lavazo and Niaspan to assist. I also didn't do my adrenals. I was going to add in DHEA for support of those. My concern was around the BP and Kidney function. Any thought there?

Thanks,

Are you taking creatine? Creatine can increase your creatinine levels and tweek your eGFR. The elevated liver enzymes could be from the orals you're on for lipids. Not sure how hard on the liver those particular orals are but you might want to check in to it.

Very little Creatine (Muscle Spike - 1500mg). I did read that the Deca will increase the Creatine. As far as the Lipid meds it's just prescription Niacin and prescription fish oils so again I was contributing that to the Deca.

Thanks for your input.
