Could really use some help

On Saturday I injected 3ccs of BD Test Enth 250mg. Since then the injection site has gotten steadily more painful, to the point that I can no longer sit on that side of my body. There is noticeable red swelling, and when I press on the swolen site it is painful and leaves white marks behind where my fingers were. I REALLY don't want to go to a doctor for this, so can I just ride out the pain?

Red swelling does not sound good bro, sounds like you might have an infection. I would keep it clean and see a doc if it does not get better really quick. Pain is quite normal depending on the substance being injected, but I have never had redness.

If it looks to be "infected" that's not a bad idea, no need to put extra stuff in your body if it's just red from irritation. If it start seeping or anything like that anti biotics and a good cleaning from the doc is what you will need. Hard to say without seeing, but no pic's needed bro

If you have an infection you should have a slight fever. If you do not have a slight fever you probably don't have an infection. If you do have an infection you need to take antibiotics, but you will need to see a doctor or speak to a NP or PA about how to take them. If they are not taken right and for the right amount of time you can make the bacteria resistant to the antibiotics and in turn make the infections worse.

If you have a localized infection you will not have a fever. It does sound like an infection. But it could also be the injection site is a little irritated. The reason the white stays where your fingers where is from edema, fluid build up. Could be from an infection, or the fluid you injected, either way I would go to the doc if it last more than a few days.

Bro as long as it doesn't get worse you should be o.k. If it lasts for a few more days you should probably have it checked out.

I had a bad shot in my delt a while back. Most of my upper are was red and even the underside (tri) was blochy. VERY sore, warm to the touch and swolen (@ the injection site) It took about a week but it subsided. I would just keep and eye on it and see what happens. Does it look like an absess is forming @ all?

Another thing that will indicate infection is local heat...if the red area is hot to the touch... then more than likely it is infected.

If it started on Sunday and got worse until today then you're probably fine. 3cc's can easily rupture a vein and that will cause pain of the kind you describe and also a hardness to the area. This is not the same as puncturing a vein. You rupture it by placing the oil right next to it and the pressure of the oil ruptures the vein. It usually doesn't even leak out. Infections generally take longer to develop to the point where they cause that kind of pain. If you have antibiotics by all means take them. Can't hurt. If I am right the pain will be gone by Friday.

the antibiotics are catabolic, so they CAN hurt if you dont need them, but better safe than sorry.
FYI, i've only done 3cc's about 4 times, and yes, it hurts like a mother and get sore as fuck and i cant sit down , this last time, it lasted for a whole week before it went away, but no probs...

This is the last time I shoot 3ccs at once, but at least it sounds like I can just tough it out, which is really good news. Thanks everyone.

Sounds like an abscess on the rise, nugga!

It appears your hygiene protocol did not go smoothly....

If that whole side of the body is sticken with pain, I'd say you should see a doc.......

Last thing you want is to "ride out the pain" to find out that you need to have the abcess cut out of your body.

The pain is localized to the lump itself, not the whole side of the body. I always am extremely careful about hygene when injecting, which is why I am optimistic that I can ride it out. I'll wait until Friday and see if its better by then.

Get a female to massage the area deep.......who cares if it's painful?

Have her massage it deep and see if that provides relief.

Good luck bro keep us posted. I had a bad injection scare last year and headed to the doc. If you have to go, do what I did and pull the old B12 injection on him. Works everytime.

Is the redness spreading? I've gotten cellulitis from an inject before. I started with the general abcess panic, then watched the red spot go from the size coffee mug to the size of a small plate.

I hit the hospital and ended up with a script for keflex that took care of shit in about a week. I think I told them something about a piece of metal on the garage floor that I rolled on.. no one cared. Good luck bro hopefully that shit will clear on its own.

Ok man alots of time ive had this....3-4 hott showers a day and rub it with soap and a wash cloth to keep it from getting infected....keep rubbing it.. keep it clean with rubbing alchol and if the skins not broken use icy hott, it will go away in around 10 days...give it 2 weeks before u go to the doctor

I made a mistake and did 3 cc's one time in my left thigh, i was limping around for a week! 2 cc's max for me now

Try the TEARDROP of your thigh. I am able to inject 2cc's in each a week no problem.
