Cottage cheese bad for cutting?

Cottage cheese is a great source of protein! Youheard it was cheap? You must not be from around here (USA)! I shoudn't be surprised... the other day I saw a thread where someone was asking how to get ahold of some peanut butter!

Excllent for cutting

Cottage cheese is the best to use for cutting. You can mix it in with almost anything and it tastes Great. Try getting yourself fat free cottage cheese - its much better!

Try this recepie

Hard Boil eggs, remove yolk and dispose, mix tuna (in water) with a little fat free cottage cheese and some shredded lettuce and fill the egg whites with the mixture - its fantastic try it :)

should u keep it for in the day b/c it contains carbs
Cottage contains negligible carbs. It's good to eat it at night cause the protein comes from whey and casein. The whey gives you some quick protein and the casein digests slowly giving you a steady supply of aminos through the night.

gotta agree wiht him, cottage cheese is a greaaat meal before bedtime, very good slow digesting protein.

When using fat free versions...

dairy is a good source of protien. Too many people get too stressed about the cutting diets. No dairy, no carbs, ....whatever!

Speaking of cottage cheese..

I just started a pretty lame diet, but its nothing more than a bunch of cottage cheese, 2 cans of tuna, a packet of instant oatmeal, and an apple and orange... it amounts to about 1800 cal. Im eating this all throughout the day, like 7 small meals..
Just wondering what anyone thinks of this for a 190lb'r at 15% +/-.. trying to loose as much as possible for the beach season
