I like Musclemom's idea of a Zocalo (my word, but her idea), a marketplace zone where business can be cleanly separated from drama.
If someone is feeling picked on, I think it's great to have an option to shield themselves; let the bullies drive themselves crazy trying to find a way to beat up someone who can't be given red or bombed. That should be enough. Once you've bought that package, you don't need (and shouldn't have) the ability to also drop bombs that can't be undone.
If your style is to go on the offensive, and it's more important to you to drop the bombs than to block them, then you should be able to buy that instead, not in addition to the shield against them. Who wins when a unblockable bomb is dropped on an unbombable person?
Make it an auction, highest bid wins?
There are solutions to all of this, people. But we have to work through it, not just freak out and start making wild threats. George needs ideas that can be implemented, not a bunch of three-year-old kids holding their breath to see who can turn the scariest shade of blue.
