cortizone shot while on the beef juice?

i've been dealing with a case of bursitis in my shoulder for over 2 months. i started up my cycle yesterday, test+deca. will a cortizone shot fuck things up? k for all worthy answers.

ps. it (the bursitis) is killing my bench right now after taking a good 6 weeks off from the gym to help deal with it

i had bursitis (impingement syndrome) and had 3 cortisone shots, all while on a cycle, the shots didnt help me much the doc said it could go either way, my case was a little severe in i had built up scar tissue and the bursa had thickened so the cortisone couldnt reduce the inflamation and i ended up having orthoscopic surgery to remove the scar tissue.
but for what its worth the shots did nothing for me and the reason why the scar tissue built up and the bursa thickened was because i waited too long to do anything

ive had tendonitis on my knee and cortisone really helped it out but i didnt do legs after that for about 3 weeks because i wanted to give it time to heal so i think youll be fine but you might have to alter your workout a little bit

Cortisone is catabolic. It would have effect on muscle tissue immediately surrounding the injection site (it would diffuse in surrounding tissue).

On the good side, it would not have much systemic absorption and probably would not effect other (distant) muscles.

i wouldnt think it would have any effects on distant muscle what so ever since it is not an oral such as prednisone. it is a local treatment not general

Let me correct myself. I am sorry I didn't closely read your post.
If you have bursitis and hopefully, the cortisone has been injected correctly inside the bursa, then probably there isn't much danger.
Cortisone most likely will not pass through facial layers. It probably will not reach the surrounding muscle.

There will be small amount of systemic absorption - there always is. Cortisone is only inactivated when it enters systemic circulation and is metabolized. But depot preparations are absorbed very slowly and probably would not be enough to significantly effect your cycle.

Most likely, the overall effect would be not significant at all. On the other hand, if your bursitis is resolved by cortisone, you would be able to do better workout and have better results.
