Since natural cortisol levels peak around 8am you could also just work out in the morning :)

It's perfectly normal that cortisol levels rise post workout. It doesn't mean you will shrivel up and lose all of your muscle. People tend to over think things, and everything in the world is catabolic, which is far from the truth. As long as you do the right things to keep protein synthesis working post workout ( food, whey, BCAAs, etc...) you will not have anything to worry about.

Very true. We tend to over think every aspect of bodybuilding to the point where it can drive you crazy if you let it. Keep the body fueled with macro nutrients frequently and lift weights. Something good is bound to happen ;)

Not to mention that cortisol spikes trigger gh spikes. This is why your gh is highest post workout, due to the massive cortisol spike from the stress put on the muscles, and in your sleep (due to cortisol spiking highest at 8pm)

no one mentioned AAS.. not sure if its the answer you were looking for but this is the AAS forum after all lol

the old school method as mentioned was always vit C. however as Rick said its such a small part of the game and isn't something to fear.
