Cortico-steroids and weight gain

Hey guys I am having cortisone shot into my shoulder. I notcied weigth gain was one of the possible side effects. Anydoy here have any problem with it?

Never have myself, but have had family members who received these shots with no weight gain..but as anything everyones diffferent..

SOudns good!! I remember a bud of mine who received a steroid shot(not our kind fo steroid) and actually got some moon face from it..It was for pain. however I dont beleive it was cortisone thanks!!

Catabolic steroids, like Prednisone that they give for asthma, will cause water retention due to the effects on aldosterone.
