correct form with narrow grip bench press

ive been doing these for a while and i want to know if i have been doing them right.
Where should u bring the bar to when it comes down? chest, stomach, sternum?
Should the elbows be tucked into the body or flaired out when u press it off the chest?

By narrow grip I assume you are trying to do close grip presses to work your tri's. If this is the case then it is essential that you keep your elbows tucked in as close as possible to your sides. This is the only way to hit the tri's. Try to lower the bar low on your chest as well. I bring it down to the bottom of my chest, right above the sternum.
 
I take them to the sternum, just like my bench press (or to my upper abs), elbows tucked always.

I bring the bar down to my solarplexus, (the hole just beheath your sternum.) I should mention, that I normally do all benching with an arch. As far as teh arms are concened, both positions train teh tri's. So long as you are exetending the arm, the tri's are still working.

Yes, but elbows tucked will work the tri's more than elbows flared.
 
i was JUST thinking about this....

i want to tri something new soon...maybe not working triceps on the day i bench but i'm afraid to do close grip bench as an excercise because its not that different from regular bench...

what do you guys think?
 
Elbows tucked in as much as possible. Should bring hte bar down to your nipples and bring it up... don't rest it on your cehst.
