i was reading about the 3 a week total body work out...

first: you use no isolations?

are these workouts so difficult that i will not be able to do them before work and then have a productive day? i mean, do they wear ya out that fast?

i noticed you said you gained 15 llbs in 10 weeks... natural... was the growth in proportion? arms kept up with chest, etc..?

my biggest training want right now is overall size but i need to add some more mass to my traps then anything else. i recently decided to add mass... without worrying about 1 or 2 percent body fat change...
 
oh, and what about my other sports? tennis, bike riding, and softball? will those interfere?

THEY ARE NOT THAT BAD ASSUMING YOUR DIET IS PRETTY GOOD AND IF YOU DO NOT ADD EXERCISE OR SETS TO WHAT IS LISTED..I DID THE PROGRAM AT 10PM AFTER WORK AND JUST B-4 BED - I THINK YOU'LL BE FINE.

NO NEED FOR ISOLATIONS - THE PROGRAM WILL PACK ON SIZE PROPORTIONALLY - THE FOLLOWUP PROGRAM IS LOADED WITH THEM HOWEVER.

NO CARDIO OR TENNIS SPORTS, ETC NOT TAKEN TO AN EEXTREM,E WILL ACTUALLY HELP KEEP SOME PUDGE OFF.

6 WEEKS WILL NET YOU 10-12 POUNDS AND AN INCH ON EACH ARM
 
ok, and on the other side.. will i feel like i did enough? sometimes i get that mindset that if i didnt do x exercises or if i am not beat down tired i didnt do enough that day and i feel like i wasted time...
 
oh ya... i cant flat bench.... its not physically possible...

would subbing in incline bench be ok?
 
sure - sub in inclines for flat bench

Bomber - you gotta get a certain mindset about training....you should NOT FEEL WASTED when you leave the gym
 
sometimes it seems no matter what i do or how soar i'm gonna be the next day... i have that thought that "i could have done one more of this or that"... next day i could be dead to the world but the thought was still there when leaving.. its like i wanna collapse before i leave...
 
i am chronically over trained... hence the lack of growth without anabolics
 
wow, 3 days a week.. this could be a vacation.

what about bike riding? that wont put me back into overtraining state, will it?
 
Biking more than twicw will push it due to the massuve amount of leg work - do this: bike up to twice per wek to start then cut it to once - if you are stil overtrained think about driopping it of rhte remainder
 
Is this about the oldschool training?

I'm planning to do that in about 3-4 weeks after I am done with my currently bulking. Gonna be on some 1ad too, hope to break 220lbs then cut down 200 over the winter (I hate cutting during the summer, it's too damn hot to be on ECA 24/7)
 
Yep.

Look on the training board for the thread.

20+ folks gained an AVERAGE of 1.5+ per week.....all but one were natty
