Laying in the bed sleeping at 3am this morning when I am woke up by someone banging on my door. It woke my room mate up to and we both came out of our rooms at the same time. Went to the door and it was a guy that i know (an acquaintance sp?). I know him a little but he's always been a nice guy and hangs out with some dudes around our complex. He had a girl with him and asked if he could use the bathroom so I let him in. Well after he used the bathroom he fell down on my bedroom floor laughing. The guy was drunk and obviously on something. He then walked out on my back porch and pulled his pants down and sat down and started smoking a cigarette. I told him to leave 5 times and he would not move. Finally after warning him several times I dragged him into the living room where he proceeded to swing at me. Im no badass but I am about 6'2 240lbs and he is around 5'9 180. I pound the guy several times and keep backing off but he keeps coming at me. We end up breaking the railing on my porch and his blood is all over my couch and wall. The cops say he may not have to pay for damages because I willingly let him in my house. They ruled it self defense on my part thanks to my room mate being there to witness it. When they showed up he was knocked out cold sitting outside of my door. He's spending the night in jail and im worried about getting the damages paid for. I imagine we did about $500-$1000 damage to my back porch and we'll have to re-paint the living room wall where his blood is. Now I can't sleep because my heart is pumping so much..............He also made several verbal threats in front of the policemen while they were here so Im hoping that will help me in court.
