Does anyone know if i will be able to become a cop if i have done roids in the past and plan on doing them again? should i tell the department or just keep it a secret thanks alot.
 
Usually there's a polygraph test during the interview process of any law enforcement position. If they don't mention steroids, keep it under your hat. But, as they say, the truth will set you free. You can explain yourself and maybe it won't disqualify you. If you make it as a cop, absofreakinlutely do NOT mention cycling again. I know cops that juice, but it's something to keep to yourself.

The WORST part about cops.. is they NEVER come out and say as a gorpu.. "Hey the laws are fucked up and you all are going after the wrong people." As a group, cops have incredible power to change things in the publics eye and they NEVER use it when its appropriate.

Most victimless crimes (i.e. roids, prostitution, pot smoking) ONLY have a criminal element associated with them BECAUSE they are illegal and every cop Ive ever talked to as admitted this... yet the NEVER say a fucking word. Fuckign robots.
 
I'm a little tired of people bashing cops about the laws they have no control over to uphold. Wanna blame someone blame the people in elected office or yourself for voting that person in. Cops have absolutly no control over the laws. Most cops agree that marijuana should be legalized along with prostitution and gambling so they focus more attention on the pedaphiles, rapists, murders, robberies, and other felonies. Don't blame the cops for shit they have no say about. A cop is a grunt of the municipality they work for making shit money and having to hear about how everything wrong in the world is their fault. Something goes wrong, blame the cops, cops save someone's life people turn and say that's their job. Its thankless and the only job worse than a police officer is being in the military. Either way the government own's you and they continuously risk their lives day in and day out so some little juicer isn't happy cause he heard some regergitated story from a 3rd person about some jackass getting busted for his 50 dboll tabs.
Let's get our priorities in check, I don't agree with it being illegal but it is and until otherwise its a risk we all take. you know the rules so don't bitch when you get caught.

K to you my friend, lots of young immature idiots out there using cops as their scapegoats, I for one am also tired of some of the shit people say here, and it's got me in hot water in the past, but fuck em......they hate cops until they need them, I used to see it all the time.

my old motto was,(the only good cop is a dead one)but now many years later,know that is wrong and,if they wer'nt here we would all have a lot more problems,and there only doing there job

Alot of LE out there are great guys.

Each department, agency, branch, service, has its own policys. It is up to you to be informed of them. Best way is thru speaking to others on police boards, gyms, and guys you personaly know. There is a huge ammount of agents, LEO's and medical personell, and firefighthers....sworn public servants...whom juice. Its acccepted. Now it matters on the place you want to join. There may be assholes there. Or it may be a juicer enviroment. I personally work out with some in my gym. Now...the polygraph thing is tricky. You see...you could beat it....read up on it...its definately beatable...you just have to practice....you can practice after reading up on it at a plygraphers office...pay him to administer the test for you thru out the day untill you get it right. Or they may not ask that specific question. Also each department has its own policy on how long ago if you did something it is acceptable as long as you curently dont engage int that behavior....varies but typically 5 years or x number of times. Now here is most imporatant thing....even if you fail the lie detector...you can and in many cases i know of peopel who have gotten the job. A lie detector does not mea anything...it can only be used as a guide. So its a split. However admitting to anything that is illegal...if its not acepted in the guidlines...will AUTOMATICALLY disqualify you.. AUTOMATICALLY! So unless you know that they accept someoen who has used blank x ammount of years ago....telling the truth is not an option.

wouldnt telling the truth be a more favorable trait to portray to the potential employer? why lie and get the ding on the test...tell the truth and send a sense of trustworthyness

It depends what department and state that you are in. And the part about the truth setting you free you most likely will be talking about getting fired or the interview ending. Their is to much compition in Law enforcement right now for them to want to worry about you doing something stupid and calling it roid rage in the papers. It will be a hard question and there is no right awnsear. Its your call. I wouldnt suggest being on a cycle any time near the interview either if they suspect it they will be more liekly to give you a drug test.

so if u were hiring and u knew some guy smoked pot and u didnt care but u asked him during interview just to see how he responded...and he lied sayig he didnt smoke or do anydrugs...u wouldnt look at that and think maybe hes not trustworthy and how much would u entrust him with employment wise? Id rather he say yes i smoke then id have trust in him.

I have several friends that are cops, the poly is a character test, do not admit to anything illegal, and the way to beat it is to answer every question as it was a lie this makes it incunclusive and gives you pretty much the same result on every question.. Practice at home :p
 
Most Depts Will ask you about roids during the hiring process because a lot of cops have been busted for roids in the last 10 years, across the United States. A lot of cops juice. Especially on the West Coast. Just go clean for awhile, get hired, then juice(I'm not kidding).

I am new so I am sure that you will feel that it is not my place to say but... Don't hate cops just because...

I have a friend who is a police officer and I can tell you that I am sure that he does not hate you. In fact he (while he may be a minority in this) does not hate steroids and does not view them the way he does narcotics. I don't think that he would ever do AS but he does not hunt down people who do.

There isn't a single person who hasn't broken the law at one point or another. No one is perfectly "clean." Shit, if you've masterbated or had sex in a manner other than misionary, you've broken the law in most states. Have you broken any traffic laws? Cast no stones here bro's.

It's rediculous to come down on this guy because of his past. If anything, you WANT him as a future cop because he's possibly educated in the field of AAS and would probably be one less cop you'd have to sweat.

Go for it man! If you're asked, tell them the truth. I will be surprised if you are polygraphed to begin with. The best thing to do is be honest. If you can't fess up, understandable --- take a bigger chance and eat 2 valium 2 hours before hand and lie your ass off. But, if you lie during a poly, you're apt to lie in the future. That's a stigma no employer should have over you.

Dude every dept has diffrent policies..Ive got friends that are cops and do juice and no one at thier dept has ever asked..most apps dont ask about juice..as far as the poly goes everyone is right its all in your mind and pulse rate..as long as you belive it it comes across like you are honest..you can beat them..besides as long as your not as big as ronnie or jay I doubt anyone would ever bring it up..
 
If you are concerned about any tests, 99% of all employment physicals even at the federal level are given to determine if you are using drugs of abuse, which are your basic recreational drugs like weed, amphetemines, coke, stuff like that. Unless you walk in with a tank top, and come off as a flake, most departments actually like people in shape. They just don't want the political flak of having a "loose cannon" So if you do end up with a cop job, remember to keep your cool, be friendly to deserving co-workers and professional in you demeanor while working at all times. Biggest rule is to Never, ever give any information to anybody about what you are putting into your own body. Sadly, you might have to lie. That is where the irony is. You are trying to be ready for any physical confrontation, the bad guy is not going to fight fair, but being able to outmuscle him, outfight him with some knowledge of martial arts, and some real streetfighting experience might make the difference between you going home, or being in a bodybag. Just keep the juicing to yourself, and if you got to have a physical, make sure you pay for one yourself before the real physical, to see if you have any health markers that will redflag you and make you look like you are not healthy. Just some things to think about, and if you ever get a chance to make bodybuilding and muscleheads look good, then don't forget where you came from, make the gym look good by being a decent cop, not a insecure overzealous retard like a lot of cops end up being.

Admittedly there are some cops who love to be douchebags but they are definitely a minority. It sucks that the dicks give the good cops a bad name.

Cops perform an important service, but unfortunately they're also ultimately subject to the will and agenda of jackass politicians. They may not be able to change the law, but when they don't agree with it they can conveniently look the other way. They deserve respect. They do a job that a lot of people don't have the balls to do.

If you want someone to blame, blame the idiots who write these laws meant to "protect us from ourselves".
