Converted Fina: how do I store it?

Once I have converted the fina to injectible, how should I store the vial? Friends of mine have refrigerated it. Would that affect the potency or nature of the TA?

try a search. I saw someone say that you should NOT refrigerate it, it was recent, but can't remember why.


if you've properly sterilized, filtered, and have some BA in there, it won't need to be kept cold.

http://www.intervetusa.com/finaplix-h.htm is where to go. The drug manufacturer recommends storage between 36-47 degrees farenheit. A temporary storage of a few days at room temp is tolerable they say. I don't know if storage recommendations remain the same for the converted injectable, but I would just follow the manufacturer's instructions. I hope this helps anyone interested.

By the way, I am disappointed that the only responses I got were anecdotal or immature. Sometimes, when you want something done right, I guess you gotta do it yourself.

i thought it only had to be kept cool if you were gonna use it w/ a gun ??? . and it would nt matter if you left the pellets sitting around if you were gonna convert it to injectable. ??

you are correct. they need to be firm to be injected, they don't need to be hard before you crush them up and convert it....
