LOL, wondered if we should have a seperate thread to converse about the pick'em picks. i probably should have went with a less sure winner and picked Carolina later down the road when I needed them. Gonna run out of sure bets later in the season.

yeah try to keep that thread to just the pick, last years thread got pretty big and with more posters now this thread should be even bigger
 
well i think last year only lasted 5 weeks by the time we had a winner, its much tougher than it seems to pick a winner each week, there are always upsets

True, I figgered by week 8 it would be down to a handful if it got a big response.
 
last year what happened was after the 1st week it got moved to the sports forum so that way it stayed on the 1 page of that room

That's true, too, but I think Carolina has a chance to go all the way this year. that's one of my reasons for the pick, besides that they've always been good at home.

I picked Carolina thinking that the Saints just won't be up to playing quite yet. Their minds will be elsewhere and they just won't have the motivation to pull it together. I'll probably go against them a few times this year.
 
Does anyone know how the Giants are doing?

Never mind, I got the score. 28-19 (3rd Quarter). Giants are winning.
